Indoor Track Replacement

The indoor track at the Tournament Capital Centre is being replaced late summer 2017. The City of Kamloops was awarded $500,000 toward the project by Western Economic Diversification Canada through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program. The grant allows us to complete the project one year earlier than planned. When the Tournament Capital Centre opened in 2007, we did not anticipate the level of usage we have experienced. With approximately 2,000 users daily, the well-used indoor track requires replacement. We are aligning the track replacement with the annual maintenance shut down to minimize the impact to our

Parking

TCC visitors are required to register their licence plate to receive two-hours of free parking. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Outside of these days and times, TCC Visitors are not required to register their license plate. Children who develop fundamental movement skills are more confident and enjoy participating in physical activities for life. Our grassroots programs including XploreSportz camps, City of Kamloops partnered programs Active Tots, Tots Run, Jump, Throw and Floorball support physical literacy and ensure that children and youth have the opportunity to be inspired by sport and lead a healthy active lifestyle.
