About Continuing Education About Continuing Education The Division of Continuing Education (CE) at the Technical College of the Lowcountry is dedicated to meeting the workforce needs for the Lowcountry. The Division offers non-credit courses throughout the College’s four-county service area to meet specific Business and Industry needs as well as for professional growth. Putting Your Life on the Lines: Memoir Writing Your life story doesn’t have to have been overly dramatic in order to write a memoir. What a great wintertime activity! This is a beginning level class; however, all skill levels are welcome to attend! CAKE DECORATING CERTIFICATE Part 1 Thousands of people just like you have experienced the excitement of decorating their first cakes in a Wilton Method Class. With your Instructor as your guide, you will see how easy and rewarding it is to decorate wonderful cakes and other desserts that will delight your family and friends. Course 1 is the perfect place to start. Your Instructor will show you the right way to decorate, step by step. Part 2 Build on the skills you learned in Course 1! Dessert 101 Class One: Dessert 101 – Saturday, February 4th, 9:30am - noon In this 2 ½ hour hands-on cooking class, you will learn and practice various mixing methods and techniques used techniques used to prepare a variety of decadent desserts with a healthy twist just in time for Valentine’s Day. Baking skills will also be covered, all while learning tricks for cutting calories and fat out of your favorite sweet treats without noticing a thing!
