Oliver: Reptiles are different, but they also have things in common. We wanted to find out more about them.

Here are some of the facts we have found out.

Holly: Mammals have skin and fur, but reptiles have scales.

Their scales come in different shapes and sizes, all depending on what type of reptile they are and where they live. Here you can see how different they can look.

Oliver: Many reptiles are predators that kill their victims in cold blood, but that has nothing to do with them being cold-blooded. They simply react to the temperature of their surroundings. This means if they get too warm they
