The TOBY Award is the most prestigious and comprehensive award in the commercial real estate industry, honoring the best properties in 15 categories to recognize those that exemplify superior building quality and excellence in building management. Located on Washington Avenue in Minneapolis’ historic North Loop Neighborhood, TractorWorks embraces the rich history of its original use beginning in 1902 as a booming distribution center for John Deere farm equipment. TractorWorks is comprised of a six-story brick and timber building, a nine-story reinforced concrete building, and a one-story eastern ‘annex’. TractorWorks also features a five-level, 640-stall, directly operated parking garage connected to the building via skyway. The brick and timber and concrete buildings, constructed in 1902 and 1910 respectively, were initially renovated in the 1960s to become office space, and further developed in 2008 and 2018-2019. One of the first commercial buildings of its kind in the North Loop. TractorWorks continues to innovate, creating bespoke workplace offerings.

90 South Seventh Street in Minneapolis Wells Fargo Center’s impact began with its inception, which has been characterized as a phoenix rising from the ashes. In fact, the 1,270,000 SF structure was constructed on the site of Norwest Corporations former corporate headquarters, which burned down on Thanksgiving Day 1982. Upon completion in 1987, the structure became a powerful new landmark and redefined the skyline, creating a dramatic and glowing invitation to downtown Minneapolis. The elegant 57-story Wells Fargo Center, designed by Cesar Pelli, contains a full-block indoor pedestrian promenade that houses a 100-foot-high domed ceiling rotunda on one side and a formal lobby on the other.
