Dr. Bruce Crooks, Premier, we can all say, no one ever has written letters & faced this turmoil with style & intelligence & part of the reasons why we are here. Premier’s Message To our Emperor and Empress, Fellow Courtiers and Honoured guests. Welcome to Coronation XV in (hopefully) sunny Halifax, Nova Scotia. I regret that I am unable to join you for the festivities, but hope you all have a wonderful evening of food, wine and entertainment. Coronation shows that no matter what is happening in the world, there is always time and space for an evening of dressing up, letting our hair down and having fun - all in the name of trying to help others. Fantasy goes hand in hand with reality as we are dedicated to raising as much as we can and giving it to those who need it. However much we enjoy the events, however, still remember that the Court is just fantasy, and our titles are make believe. The money we raise, however, is not, and the work we do in the community is just as important. I won’t pretend that this year has been easy - far from it. but it is a mark of our commitment to our mission that we have continued to work hard to make this year as successful as we can, and despite all the challenges we are proud to welcome you to the step-down of our monarchs, Emperor Dennis Dupont and Empress Starr Dupont-Santos. I would like to thank our Emperor and Empress, our Upper House and our Parliament for all the hours of work and dedication they have poured into making this year, and this Coronation a success. This ball message will be a little different from all others, as the both of us live together and have travelled together, we will be thanking all the same people. The past year has been a whirlwind of trials and tribulations , we however made it through and stand here tonight in front of you with our head held high celebrating all our accomplishments and its because of friends like yourself who stood by us and supported us over the year. We thank you! We would like to start by thanking the people who touched us in many different ways, starting with our board. Jozef – we do not even know where to start. You came on board, made things happen and you became our rock. Words can not express how much you mean to us, Thank you so very much; we love you! Bruce – no matter what time of the day or night is was, you were there for us whenever possible. Thank you. Brian H & Madison Hart – you were there for us from day one and stuck it out, we love you guys and we definitely have to do dinner very soon. Brian B. – I know it was late in the year when you came on board but your undying support to us was overwhelming and we thank you for that, hugs my friend. Nikki Teenn- thank you for helping with setting up events as event co-ordinator and making things happen for us. Allan D. – our college rep. thank you for being part of our board and for the advice that you gave us. It been much appreciated. Emperor’s Message As Emperor 14 of Halifax, I would like to personally thank some people that had a major effect on my life during my reign. To my Imperial Crown Prince’s …..Bruce Cooks & Patrick Roy….. I knew I made the right choice when asking the both of you to be my ICP this year. You have been there for me all year, stood by my side and helped me when I needed you. I am so proud of the two of you tonight and I thank you for everything you have done. This night is also yours, you deserve it and enjoy! Hugs to the both of you. In town Emperors 14 1/2 …….Jozef, Allan D, Dale and Lee Bent….Wow, what a group of 4 you guys were. Unstoppable! No, matter what I needed or when, you were always there. Words cannot express what you guys mean to me. I am so proud of the 4 of you and all you have done. Empress’s Address Good Evening… As I sit here this evening deciding what to write as my step down message. I am reminded that Life sometimes throws stones in our directions.. I was side tracked a few times and then at times thinking why... But tonight I Stand before you , with over whelming emotions knowing there are so many people that have affected my life. I have traveled and attended some amazing coronations.. With the support of my Board, my Icp’s and friends as well as my husband who was also my emperor.. There are a few people I personally want to thank, My ICP’S Nikki & Dotti... Well lady’s we made it.. You both have made me so happy, you both should be very proud of yourselves, Thank you Nikki for going to New York with me.. Dotti thank you for all the hard work you did at our events… It was a lot of fun… I love you both very very much.. My In-town Empress 14 ½ Madison Heart..From the first time we meet, I knew we were sisters.. Your support this year has been amazing.. I am so happy that you accepted my in-town half. I love you. Imperial Crown Prince Message To my Emperor Dennis, Empress Starr and fellow courtiers Thank you for inviting me to share this year of rainbows and fundraising with you. Every year brings its own flavour, its own style and its own opportunities and challenges. This year is no different, but above all, it has been a year to enjoy fundraising, entertaining and reaching out. Hopefully, we have all played a part in this. I have been privileged to share this year as ICP with three other fine ICPs - ICP Nikki Teenn, ICP Dotti Rose Donedidit and ICP Patrick Roy. My fellow ICPs have shown amazing professionalism and dedication in working towards the goals of the Court and raising money for our charities. Finally, we couldn’t have done this without the leadership and example of our Emperor and Empress; they have reigned with dignity, compassion and strength and have completed a difficult, but successful year.

Imperial Crown Prince Good evening to Friends and Family! Whoever said writing these days was easy, is sadly mistaken. When I think about this past year, I think I have been blessed to be surrounded by some amazing people which I am truly thankful.So when I thought about my year as Imperial Crown Prince 14 of Halifax, I thought about the successes and the areas that could have been done a little differently. In the end, there was a community and that is things still happened, and it was full steam ahead for our charities.Throughout the year, I have met so many awesome people and connected with old friends too. These people have played part of Court life and inspired me to keep up the good fight that we are all part of in the grand scheme of things.A person, I have to thank is my counter part and wife for Reign 14, Dotti Rose Donediddit, my darling, it hasn’t been an easy marriage, then again no marriage is really. We have clashed on occasions, but in the end, we survive and manage to talk things out and get the job done. I wish to congratulate you on all your achievements outside of court life and I wish you well in your future endeavours.To those who are here from other courts or out of town. I hope you all enjoy the festivities and make some great long lasting friends. I can truly say the many I have met along the way are no longer simply friends, but also my family.
