Sometimes less is more. If you want an eclectic modern ar t piece then you can choose one large or oversized ar twork placed on the main wall. Don’t be afraid to choose an oversized ar twork which can really make a statement, but remember to consider your room size and whether there will there be enough room for the painting to speak to you. Another approach is to create a galler y wall of many smaller ar tworks placed together. Be bold and arrange as many frames as you can! For those on a budget, this can be a great approach since you can find matching or complimentar y frames at yard sales, optionally paint them all the same colour and inser t affordable original ar tworks into them. B e s i d e w a t e r l a n d s c a p e s Jennifer also paints the skylines in neo-impressionistic style and abstract. At the beginning she star ted painting with pastels, oils and watercolours. When she moved to Brazil she star ted using acr ylic and created a mixed media ar tworks which eventually led her to experiment with variety of textures and layers. She employed wet in wet techniques and layering of glazes over various textures. This technique suited while painting water landscapes and gave her a glass-free alternative to watercolour on paper.
