Environmental Sustainability The company Ambruosi & Viscardi considers the environment conservation a fundamental aspect for a sustainable development and for maintaining the quality of life. Environmental choices are made not only to comply with the law and with regulatory aspects, but also to continue the improvement of the environment-friendly performance in order to prevent pollution. This happens because the company aims at guaranteeing that its products respect the environment. All the productive investments of these few years are going to reduce the impact of the supply chain in the ecosystem.
Factory The factory in Sant’Elpidio a Mare uses green energy obtained by 6600 photovoltaic panels located on the top of the factory, which are able to produce 1.2 Megawatts of clean energy to meet the company needs. All dangerous and non-dangerous industrial special waste, coming out of the production process, is disposed or recovered by specialized companies.
Transport The environmental impact is evaluated also during the transport phase so to reduce it when possible. That is why when a new piece of growing land is selected, we pay special attention to the distance from the company center and to the energy consumption to reduce air emissions. We choose to use CNG-powered transport machines instead of gasoline ones.

We use vegetable waste as an organic fertilizer for our growing soil and to produce green energy by transporting some of it to a biogas plant. We are building our own new biogas plant, which is going to be fed by the vegetable waste of the raw material coming from the process. The resulting energy will be used to feed the new factory of quinta gamma. The waste of this process will be used on the soil as well as an organic fertilizer.

The product is picked from the country and took to our warehouses. here is cleared form non eatable parts by our high qualified staff, and delivered to the large distribution. The quality is granted by:
The fourth range is born to satisfy rigorous customers who must address their offers to an ever more exigent consumer. This production is placed in a factory which respects all health and quality requirements, and offers the staff a comfortable and dynamic place to work in.
• The check of products in the field by the country responsible together with the technical responsible, who validates the batches;
Before being used, the raw material undergoes a field check, and is instantly delivered to the warehouse. It’s put into the freeze which turns down the temperature to grant the salads freshness. The working lines, using the most recent technologies, together with an excellent staff, grants an high quality of the product thanks to:
• Checking pythopharmacy elements with periodic chemical analysis; • Cutting the products directly in the field, avoiding to full the Warehouses; • Qualified staff involved in cheking external substances; • Security and Health laws high respect (HACCP and 626 LAW); • Hold on the “freeze line” from the picking, trough the refreshed trucks, to the distribution; with temperatures between 2 and 4°C.
• An air conditioning higher that 13°C to grant the freshness and the healthiness of the salad; • Over 4 times visual checking, all along the production, avoids the presence of external elements; • The salads are washed using water under 3 degrees and high pressure water jets; • It’s used a centrifugal machine to dry the already cut salads; • The water “ozone system” allows the elimination of bacterium;
