Recently, the Interfraternity council adopted an open structured recruitment process. This means organizations have the opportunity to recruit year round and extend bids at anytime. This new system allows chapters and potential members the opportunity to develop stronger relationships before a bid is given or received. We encourage you to explore all of the fraternal organizations MTSU has to offer and meet as many chapters as possible before accepting a bid.

INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Lastly, it is important that you know fraternity recruitment is an alcohol free process. No one in any way connected to the fraternity may serve or partake of alcohol or other illegal substance in the presence of a potential member. No potential member may be in possession of alcohol at any time during recruitment/recruitment events. Any potential member violating the recruitment rules is subject to suspension from the recruitment process and may not be allowed to join a fraternity.
