This season is pretty exciting because Wayward isn’t single anymore! He still retains his eccentric sensibilities such as using cutlery as accessories! His wardrobe replete with oxford-lined blazers in a saffron/olive tartan weave, flap trousers with hidden pockets and cuffed shorts with leather cord details, sheer/dense cotton shirts with flap pockets and not forgetting staple knits in various hues of indigo to rich forest greens.
“Miss Wayward’s” debut season is about simple shapes with wicked details – A pleated shift with a bib eptimises the Wayward DNA. The dress, hangs loosely from the body without a zipper for fastening but adorned with just a bib. It can be wore on the outside or layered underneath the shift for a different aesthetic balance – focusing on what an outfit appears to show and what it appears to hide.
He is all about looking dandy from day to night and of course having brunch. In his spare time, he still loves going for long strolls by the river, penning ideas on a road trip and spending time in the countryside with Miss Wayward.
Miss Wayward is not really about a dress, about a top, or a trend even, its more about the DNA. Timeless crafted pieces that you could wear 30 years down the road. What we call “Clothes with mileage.”
