Family house is situated in Jesenice on the outskirts of Prague. The specific shape of the site determines volumes of the building. It consists of two wings, which make secure and private garden in the heart of the site. They also maximally use the sun and its solar gains. The house widely opens to the garden through large glazed areas. It makes interior and exterior closely connected. The volume facing the street is designed in a very austere way with minimal glazed surface. The inner layout is divided into the night and day part by the wings. The bedroom wing is placed on the north of the site whilst the living room wing separates the private garden from the street.

House is designed as a bungalow without a basement. The shape of the building is determined by the specific geometry of the site. Its volume turns around the north boundary of the site. Thanks to this the volume creates small atrium of the common living room. Moreover, the layout brings maximal area for the south sun exposed garden. All the living rooms face south and they are mostly glazed to this side. This makes the house sunny and closely connected with the garden and the river Vltava throught a large irregulary shaped terrace. By the driveway there is a garage through which the house can be entered since its roof is connected with the one of the house.

A modern family house of a former NHL player. The building is situated on the edge of the neighbourhood Jesenice which offers a delightful view on the countryside. Shape of the building is influenced by the geometry of the site. The volume is made by two wings turning around north and east edge of the site. This layout arouses a feeling of privacy of the garden in the centre of the site and it also brings great views over the PrĹŻhonice Park. The inner layout is divided into a private and a public space. The bedroom wing is placed by the north boundary of the site. The public part creates a border between the garden and the street. Both wings are separated by an entrance hall with a water feature, through which nature entrances the building. Above the living room, situated in a storey with the best view, there is a working place, a gym and a terrace. The large terrace simultaneously represents a roof of the private part of the building.

4BLOK is situated on a former industrial area Tesla in Vršovice. The volume is determined by adjacent block of buildings. The surrounding high level is not exceeded. Perpendicular to the Vršovická Street the terrain is raising together with the building height. In the northwest corner the volume escalates toward a high Business Centre. There is a birch grove in the courtyard. Sufficient amount of day light is guaranteed by vacant spaces in the volume of the building. The concept of bringing green into the city is fostered by large grassed roofs and terraces. The multifunctional block with 213 flats is divided into 3 volumes with 4 entrances. The volumes grow from common plinth. The plinth contains 3 underground levels with garages and commercial spaces on the ground level. The facade is covered with the thoughtful mosaic of windows, which makes an impression of randomness. The ornament is completed by balconies, which never appear in the same position and never in the one above the other. Each flat represents an original. The escalating appearance of the apartment building is highlighted by significant ledges and by various material of railings. The colours on facade are chosen in soft neutral shades.

The proposal is situated in a former industrial area near the Olomouc city centre. The site is ideal place for living thanks to its privilege position between two watercourses and to its traffic accessibility. The north boundary is defined by a railway so the site can be seen as an island. This fact prompted our enthusiasm for creation of a closed area for housing with greenery and unique nature scenarios on river banks. The area is divided into 3 stages, which are advantageous in terms of flats number – approximately 85. This amount is promising for creation of a healthy community full of social interactions. Each of these “nests” has its own underground garage. Nests are connected by paths leading through various zones – swimming pool, sauna, sports facilities, children playground, community garden and a grill with shelter. Each nest consists of 3 buildings with four entrances. Houses are proposed in three material solutions with an emphasis on volume division bringing maximal privacy.
