ABOUT FRINGE Adelaide Fringe is the biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere! For 31 magical summer days and nights, Fringe transforms Adelaide and greater South Australia. Our festival stretches from up in Whyalla all the way down to Mount Gambier, with eclectic and vibrant events that include cabaret, theatre, comedy, circus, music, visual arts, workshops and so much more. Adelaide Fringe was born in 1960 and has grown year on year. In 2020, we sold 853,419 tickets. Our audiences range from 1 to 100, and come from all walks of life. We truly are ‘The People’s Festival’.
