the off-site mba program Xavier University’s Off-site MBA program is designed for the working professional who needs a program close to work or home. While earning the acclaimed Xavier MBA, students do so at the convenience of one of three locations around the region. Students in the off-site program also enjoy an accelerated format—two nights a week for just 24 months—as well as the benefits of attending with the same cohort of classmates and receiving administrative assistance from a full-time program coordinator who handles everything from registration to textbook delivery.

deerfield program Located in the heart of one of the region’s fastestgrowing northern suburb, the Deerfield program is ideal for students who live or work in the northern communities of Hamilton, Warren, Clermont and Butler counties. The classroom is wi-fi, giving students access to all of Xavier’s online resources. Classes at the Deerfield site start in January. Deadline to apply is Dec. 1.

west chester program The West Chester program is located in the heart of West Chester Township. The site attracts students from Butler, Hamilton, Montgomery and Warren counties in Ohio, plus some of the counties in Southeastern Indiana. The classroom is wi-fi, giving students access to all of Xavier’s online resources. Classes at the West Chester site start in July. Deadline to apply is June 1.

program support Payment Agreement

Xavier Bookstore

Xavier offers a preferred payment plan for Off-site MBA students. In general, payments are due after each semester so students can maximize employer reimbursement options. Please refer to the tentative payment schedule and plan enclosed in this packet. You will complete an online payment agreement when you begin the program. If you have additional questions about your payment plan, please contact the program coordinator and we will work with you to make sure your needs are met. Your books are purchased for you and delivered to you prior to the start of classes. Additional supplies and Xavier merchandise can be purchased at the University bookstore in the Gallagher Student Center, or online at www.xavier.edu/bookstore. Information Systems and Services

The Office of Information Systems and Services provides students with technological support and services. You are encouraged to bring your laptop to class. MyXU Portal

As an Off-site MBA student, the MyXU portal is your primary connection to the University. It also provides access to many additional services and events, including online library services, Xavier e-mail, calendars, registration and bursar information, student records and Blackboard. The MyXU portal can be accessed through any Internet browser.

MyXU also includes a Xavier e-mail account for each student, which is a major communication tool for faculty. The Xavier e-mail can also be forwarded to your preferred e-mail account. Xavier participates in the Jesuit Business Network, a unique partnership with 25 other accredited Jesuit MBA programs. The partnership offers the opportunity to transfer up to 18 credit hours of MBA coursework to a partner university. GMAT REQUIREMENTS The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is administered as a computer adaptive test in cities nationwide by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). All applicants except those possessing an MD, JD or PhD, are required to successfully pass the GMAT exam and submit their scores to Xavier. Anyone considering applying is urged to complete the GMAT prior to the start of classes. You can find information about registering for the exam by visiting www.mba.com.

Xavier University offers GMAT test preparation workshops on campus at least twice a semester. The workshops are designed to review basic algebra and geometry, to familiarize candidates with the test format, and to give general test-taking strategies.
