A long-established international food & beverage industry trade show will make its debut in the United States at the Las Vegas Convention Center in March of 2022. Salon International de L’Alimentation (SIAL), has a 50-year history drawing 16,000 exhibitors and 700,000 visitors from 200 countries.

Powerscourt Distillery announce details of their cask programme. The programme consists of 200 litres of 65% ABV fill strength of highest quality, triple distilled, premium Irish whiskey (spirit) into American white oak, first-fill ex bourbon barrels. This will be the Inagural cask programme of Noel Sweeney, who has as 40 years experience in Irish distilling. He is considered the most experienced working Master Distiller of Irish Whiskey in the world. The globally-celebrated Master Distiller & Blending Expert was 30 years as Master Distiller of Cooley Distillery. He produced all variations of award-winning whiskeys such as Connemara, Greenore, Kilbeggan, Lockes, ect. The ten year programme costs €7,800 and only 397 casks were ever made available. Numerous whiskey cask finishes available inclusing Rum, Port, Sherry, Bordeaux red wine, Amarone, ect. 10 year programme membership including maturation, insurance with first & exclusive access.
