Application Requirements Explore wmich.edu/transfer/criteria to see if you’re eligible to apply to Western as a transfer student. Admission requirements depend on the number of transferable credit hours earned: 24 or more hours: 2.00 cumulative college GPA (based on all credits attempted from all institutions attended). 23 or fewer hours: 2.00 cumulative college GPA (based on all credits attempted from all institutions attended) and admissible high school GPA. Western has adopted a test-optional policy, so test scores are not required. However, if you graduated less than two years before you plan to enroll at Western, you can strengthen your application by submitting self-reported ACT or SAT scores.

While recommendation letters, essays and other supplemental materials are optional, students who wish to be considered for aviation flight science should submit them. The program is fall entry only.
