Dear Parent/Carer

Internet Safety The year 5 children have been learning about internet safety. They started by watching a video linked to sharing online and took part in a class discussion.

TOFFEE Music Year 6 had an excellent afternoon with TOFFEE Music. We found out lots more information about our World War Two topic and were entertained with some World War One and Two songs. Coding Club In Coding Club the children are receiving a special lesson in TinkerCad. The children learnt how to add shapes to the printing area, connect shapes together and how to rotate the shapes within the work area. They then put those skills into practise, it was hard work but they used lots of resilience! School Dinners Dinner debts continue to rise despite our continued reminders for payments. Our school does not provide school dinners, it is an external company and as a result of this cumulative debt funds are being taken from an already stretched budget to cover this, meaning that all children in our school are affected. If contact with parents is not successful, this via a daily text message, phone call and/or letter then we will request you either provide your child with a packed lunch or collect them at lunch time. Payments for all school meals must be made at the start of a week via our online system. If you currently have outstanding payments please make sure that these are cleared. If you have concerns or are having difficulties with paying please contact reception or the school office and we will do our best to help and support you. Bikes and Scooters A reminder please that bikes and scooters should not be ridden across the school playground. Please encourage your child to adhere to this. Hometime We want to make sure that every child gets home safely at the end of the school day. Please can we ask that you be patient at handover on the playground. Staff need to make sure that they know who every child has gone with so that they all get home safely. Thank you. Also, we are having an increasing number of parents/carers arriving late at the end of the school day. If you are going to be delayed, please can you call school to inform us.
