Hill View Winery Estate’s client is Gerry Ryan. Gerry is Australia’s very own bob the builder in regard to the fact that he is a talented businessman who has built an empire through the various businesses that he has started from the ground up. Gerry first began building his empire through his business of manufacturing Jayco caravans, which the caravan business’s success then allowed him to venture into the hospitality industry where he has well and truly made a name for himself.
Gerry is well known within the hospitality industry particularly for the development of the Mitchelton Winery Estate, which has become a large draw card for visitors to the Nagambie region. Gerry has recently partnered on the development of the Hubert Estate in the Yarra Valley, where the quant winery was transformed from a tin tasting shed, into a $70 million winery and hotel complex. Besides Jayco Caravans, Mitchelton Winery and Hubert Estate; the businesses that Gerry’s name is attached to also include the Prince Hotel in St Kilda and the production company Global Creatures. Gerry’s philosophy is seeing people enjoy themselves. This is made possible through the variety of experiences both luxury and casual experiences at all of his hospitality ventures. The Macedon Ranges has a gap within its current hospitality market for a Winery Estate of the larger scale to be opened within the area, and Gerry Ryan is seezing the opportunity by expanding his business within the region through Hill View Winery Estate.

Hill View Winery Estate by Darby Kelly is the newest addition to winery developer Gerry Ryan’s list of hospitality ventures, bringing a taste of timeless, elevated luxury to this corner of Regional Victoria. Located in Spring Hill, just a ninety minute drive from Melbourne. Hill View Winery Estate is a multi-functional venue that has been designed to muse together sweeping views, wine and a relaxing atmosphere.
Hill View is set upon acreage that overlooks the Campaspe Reservoir which provides sweeping views over open winery vines and the blooming hydrangea fields. Hill View Winery Estate has been designed to be a destination that people will flock to all year round and a key venue to visit within Victoria.
The design concept of Hill View has been created in a way to provide a variety of spaces for guests to escape and indulge.

Lot 3 Brady Road, Spring Hill, Vic 3444. Residential Land 46.82 acres approx. situated in Spring Hill, Victoria, Australia. The land is in a prime location that has access to picturesque views in the distance of the Coliban reservoir. The surrounding area of the land features pastured farmland, it is in a private and quiet area of the country that is home to many native animals. Zoning: The current zoning is Farming Zone. A building permit is required from the Macedon Ranges Shire Council to apply for a permit to build a dwelling on this land. Location: The land is a 15 minute drive from the local Kyneton train station and a one and a half hours drive from Melbourne’s CBD.

JACKALOPE HOTEL Jackalope Hotel is an award winning luxury escape destination located along the Mornington Peninsula. ‘Jackalope is a timeless institution of unparalleled luxury, a revered icon of the Australian hoteland hospitality industry.’ The hotel offers a variety of tiered rooms to stay in that overlook the winery vines. There are a wide variety of add ons to guests stays to make the experience all the more special and bespoke. Jackalope features an assortment of different dining experiences and venus that ensures there is something for every occation or craving. Doot Doot Doot is a finedining restaurant that prides themselves on the garden to table method by cooking with the produce that is grown on the very grounds of Doot Doot Doot itself. Flaggerdoot, is the on site haure cocktail bar that ‘ delights in the alchemic process of distinllation.’ The cocktail spot is one that ignites the tastebuds witht he variety of traditional and new concoctions to have all guests lost for words. Rare Hare provides all visitors with a comfortable, welcoming and cosy atmosphere with its woodfire centrally located in the middle of the great room which overlooks the vineyard with is sweeping views. A communal, share style menu, each dish is designed to accompany the various wines on offer at Rare Hare to complement each other. Guests stying at the Jackelope hotel are also privy to the added luxury of in-room dining, where they are able to order restaurant quality food that is delivered directly to hotel room. It is the perfect way to enjoy the ‘dining out’ taste without having to leave the comforts of your room, which is a perfect option on a cold Victorian night. Jackelope is rather diverse in what it offers all guest and the experience can be tailored and altered for each guest to ensure that they are enjoying their ideal getaway. Jackalope is a luxury winery hotel that has an extensive assortment of offerings which set it apart from other Victorian wineries.
