‘Candy Cane Lane’ brings the spirit of the holidays local Come each December, one neighborhood in El Segundo decks out its homes with Christmas cheer to the extreme–a profusion of lights, Christmas carols on repeat, handmade cutouts and blowup characters like elves, reindeer and St. Nick all combine to create a magical realm of holiday joy. It’s over the top. It’s competitive. Residents spend thousands on their displays. And it draws visitors from miles around. It’s called Candy Cane Lane and Kelly Younger, Westchester resident and screenwriter, knows it well. Kelly’s parents moved to El Segundo in the 1990s and both mom, Ruth, and dad, Jim, quickly got swept up in the “go big or go home” decorating spirit. “My parents moved to the top of the street that leads to Candy Cane Lane. My dad was a truck driver, but he was always making stuff in our garage. When they moved to El Segundo and found out that there was this tradition, he went all in,” said Kelly. His father was restoring a classic Cadillac at the time and was struck by a vision. “He put the Cadillac up on risers like it was taking off, and he built wooden reindeer and attached them to the front of the hood, flying off at various heights. It looked like Santa’s sleigh was a 1955 Cadillac convertible, and they completely decorated the house with lights!” says Kelly. Clearly making an impact on Kelly, he’s now written a film about this local Yuletide enclave that feels like a love letter to El Segundo. “Candy Cane Lane” stars Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross as the Carvers, and Jillian Bell as Pepper, an ornery elf. Did I mention since premiering on December 1, “Candy Cane Lane” is currently the number one movie in the world on Amazon Prime? While most screenwriters have set their Christmas movies in a snowy, midwestern town, Kelly wanted to reflect his own experience of winter growing up in SoCal. “When I was a kid, we would take our boogie boards to the beach at Christmas and go down the sand dunes and pretend that we were on snow like we were on sleds. The original screenplay opened with kids riding down the dunes on boogie boards. But our incredible director, Reggie Hudlin, takes everything to level 10, so when I saw that first shot of those snowboarders coming down the sand dunes, it made me laugh!” he

miniature village that my dad built in his garage,” Kelly says, adding that set designers even borrowed some of his dad’s hand-carved wooden items and put them in the background in the Carver’s garage. Sadly, Kelly’s mother Ruth passed away about a month before the film’s release. While she got to see a few clips, she didn’t get to see the entire film. But Kelly says it was the experience leading up to the movie premiere that was important to his mother. “When we had all of these people over to our annual Candy Cane Lane party, for her, that was the premiere, that was the red-carpet event,” says Kelly. “My parents are those people who want to open their doors to their neighbors and the neighborhood. And that’s what I hope that this movie does for families, for friends, for people around the world.” As a screenwriter and producer, Kelly has built an impressive career working on multiple Disney films, including Encanto, Moana and Frozen 2, not to mention writing projects for The Muppets. He’s been on the Loyola Marymount University faculty for 20 years teaching Film, English and Theater. An alumnus of LMU, it’s also where he met his wife, local real estate icon, Stephanie Younger, when they were both undergrads. Kelly loves the Westchester community where he and Stephanie are very active around town. “I love our Little Leagues. I love our holiday events, our Fourth of July Parade. We are one of the homes for the Santa stop that the Rotary Club does with the LAPD, and we bring out a hot chocolate cart,” says Kelly. “I surprise all the kids by getting a fake snow machine. When Santa arrives, it starts to snow, and we get like 300 people from the neighborhood totally ruining our lawn, but we love it because that stuff grows back, right? That’s what the holidays mean to me and that’s why I’m so proud of this movie.” Given the huge success the movie has achieved so far, I asked Kelly if a sequel was in the works. Though he couldn’t confirm or deny a sequel, he did say this: “I’m not done with the Carver family yet!” “Candy Cane Lane” is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. El Segundo’s Candy Cane Lane (1200 Block of East Acacia Ave.) is celebrating its opening night on Saturday, December 9 at 7 p.m., and the holiday festivities run through December 23.

says, noting that the scene was shot in El Segundo. Other Easter eggs in the film include gingerbread houses made to look like Randy’s Donuts and the LAX Theme Building, and a shot of Eddie Murphy driving past El Segundo’s Old Town Music Hall where there are movie posters for “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “March of the Wooden Soldiers”– Murphy’s favorite Christmas movies. But that’s not all.

That’s what the holidays mean to me and that’s why I’m so proud of this movie. “We also see the Chevron refinery, the water treatment plants and the airport–it’s sort of bonkers where

we live, isn’t it? How it could be so beautiful, but also so industrial, and yet we’re also by the beach. I really wanted to make sure they captured all of that,” he says. Once “Candy Cane Lane” was greenlit but before they started shooting, people from the art department, production designers, the director, the producers and all the big Amazon Studios executives came to Ruth and Jim’s house in El Segundo for the opening of the neighborhood Candy Cane Lane. “We normally have a Candy Cane Lane party, we get pizza, we have paper plates. Then we had all these Hollywood people come, and they loved it because a lot of them are transplants to Los Angeles. They don’t really have families here, and they got to have our annual family Candy Cane Lane party, but they also studied my dad’s workshop in his garage. That Kringle store [in the film], the miniature village with the train set behind it and the mountains–that is all based on the

Remembering the 60th anniversary of the Baldwin Hills Dam disaster By Cozette Vergari One of our readers recently reached out to me, in my position as President of the Westchester/Playa Historical Society (WPHS), to bring to my attention the 60th anniversary of the Baldwin Hills Dam disaster. I not only knew of it, but remembered the exact date, because I witnessed it! On December 14, 1963, I was a freshman at USC, having just graduated in June from Westchester High School. It was my mother’s birthday, and since the 10 Freeway would not be open for another two years and the 105 Freeway was years off, I was driving my usual route home from campus: Exposition Boulevard to Arlington Avenue, south to Santa Barbara Avenue (now MLK Boulevard) into Leimert Park and, then, onto Stocker Place, which became Stocker Street. As I crossed over Crenshaw Boulevard, heading through Baldwin Hills toward Westchester, I would enjoy the fabulous vista that could be seen below as I traveled over La Brea Avenue toward La Cienega Boulevard, looking out to the ocean. It was a Saturday. As I drove home to celebrate my mother’s birthday with my parents and friends, I was listening to the radio. I was on Stocker when the radio news reported that the Baldwin Hills Dam, which had served to contain the Baldwin Hills Reservoir, a drinking water reservoir for the previous 12 years, had burst. It was built into the hilly area that is now the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation area. Just then, I was approaching La Brea Avenue, which at the time had no parking, but I decided to pull over and park anyway, as I could see five other cars had done the same. We hiked in to look down upon the reservoir, and witnessed the

unbelievable damage to not only the dam, but the homes and apartments below. It is one of those images I will have forever in my mind. A huge triangular piece of the asphalt and concrete-lined wall of the dam had broken away and released more than 250 million gallons of water, which created flooding and mudslides down the hills. Approximately 250 homes and apartment buildings were damaged or destroyed in just 77 minutes. It was the first news story to be covered by helicopter at KTLA. The aerial footage was narrated on the TV news that night by Michael Fitzmaurice. The segment “Dam Bursts In Los Angeles” can be found by searching on YouTube.

Baldwin Hills and Westchester have always been connected communities. Growing up, everyone shopped on Crenshaw Boulevard, where there was a very large shopping mall. I bought my prom dress in a specialty shop nearby. Dorsey High School, located near Exposition Blvd. and La Brea, had been the original high school for students moving into Westchester in the late 1940s before the first Westchester High School campus opened at 80th Street and Emerson Avenue. Learn more about the history of the area by visiting the WPHS Discovery Center on Sundays between 9:30 a.m. and noon during the farmers’ market. The center’s current exhibit features Westchester High School circa 1963,

and is located at 6207 W. 87th Street in Westchester. Next month, we are excited to open our new exhibit on Sunday, January 14, which will highlight some interesting surprises and secrets about our community. Hint: it involves Nike Missile Silos and exotic animals! Cozette is an attorney and lifelong resident of Westchester. She is the President of the Westchester/Playa Historical Society. Together with a group of dedicated volunteers, the organization is working on creating new programming and events to celebrate the history of the area and engage the community in preserving it for future generations.

Thanks, Westchester/Playa. I love being here to help in a community where people are making a difference every day. Thank you for all you do. Tatiana Ruiz More, Agent 8705 Truxton Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90045 310-450-8833 tatiana@coveredwithmore.com 2007005

Playa Vista resident, Linda Nguyen, is passionate about bánh baos, and the uglier the better. This summer, with the help of her mother, Ms. Kim, and her partner, Bryson Ishii, she launched The Ugly Bao, and is focusing on bringing the hand-crafted portable comfort food made with fresh, healthy and delicious ingredients to all. Never had a bánh bao before? It’s a Vietnamese bun stuffed with meat or veggies that’s steamed to soft, savory perfection. But for owner and founder Linda, aka Chief Steamer, crafting the best baos in town is just part of the plan. With a background in business, theology and education, Linda’s goal is to use her company to make a positive impact in the local community while providing career mentorship and development to immigrant and firstgeneration women looking to amplify their opportunities. Linda says she inherited her entrepreneurial spirit from her mother and her hard work ethic from her father. As refugees from Vietnam, her parents made it clear that education was extremely important. Linda took her parents’ wishes to heart and spent nearly 10 years at Loyola Marymount University, racking up three degrees, including a Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice. “The running joke is that LMU just couldn’t get rid of me,” says Linda with a laugh. With such a clear passion for education, Linda spent time working in various all-girl high schools throughout Los Angeles before heading a team that started a brand-new school in Orange County. “My calling as an educator has always been to find ways to serve students that might not fit the educational system in its current form. My calling was to journey with individuals who just need an extra boost,” she says. As much as she loved being an integral part of high school administrative teams, Linda says she faced unexpected challenges. “While surreal in many ways, I found myself realizing that the type of impact I wanted to make could not happen through the traditional education system. My own life experiences have taught me that obtaining degrees and valuable work experience are only a part of the equation,” said Linda. “There are many soft and unspoken barriers– politically, racially, socioeconomically, culturally or gender-based–that I have observed throughout my career. I wish to reveal those barriers and share with others like me how to overcome them.” That’s when she realized that there was another way. Linda decided to go back to her roots and reconnect with her Vietnamese family traditions to follow in her mother’s enterprising footsteps. “As Vietnamese refugees, my parents’ families built their foundation in America by handmaking and selling Page 14 • December 2023

The Ugly Bao founders, Linda Nguyen and Ms. Kim, pose for a photo at LMU.

Currently, they’re having fun selling at SACHI.LA, a coffee shop in Mar Vista, and Our Place, a cookware store on Abbot Kinney in Venice, but others are in the works. Linda and Bryson say it’s very rewarding to meet customers in a casual environment and watch them enjoy the bao in real time. “We’ve applied to various farmers’ markets, and we’re excited to meet our ‘ugly’ community in other ways,” she says. The Ugly Bao’s top sellers are pork belly, lemongrass chicken and the 15 vegetable bao. Linda’s favorite is the lemongrass chicken because she prefers lighter flavors, but for Bryson, it’s hands down the pork belly bao. “It’s rich and bold in flavor and packs a punch. It was also the first bao that Linda and her mom created together. I have been lucky to be the primary taste tester for every iteration of the recipe. It is incredible to see the baos come to life and the evolution and passion toward perfecting the product,” he says. But as Linda continues to experiment with the recipes handed down from her mother to craft something uniquely her own, she hopes to create flavors that appeal to everyone. “We are working on some seasonal items. We have an apple pie bao for the holidays. It’s a sweet one. I think we learned that our customers are craving some sugar,” she says. Sweet red bean and sweet custard baos are coming to the menu soon as well. As The Ugly Bao team works on growing their business, they have some big aspirations for the future. A trip to Shark Tank would be amazing, and seeing their products in fridges across the country would be a dream come true that would not only enable Linda to share an important part of her heritage, but also give back to her community. “Our big dream is to have a thriving business with physical locations in many communities that can support a fully operating nonprofit that conducts research on best practices for career development, mentorship and guidance for immigrant and first-American born folks,” said Linda. There’s nothing ugly about that! To see when The Ugly Bao is popping up near you, visit their website at theuglybao.com or follow them on Instagram @theuglybao.

After eight years at the Westchester Family YMCA, John Loussararian will be hanging up his hat as Executive Director at the end of December. The decision to accept the role to lead the Montebello-Commerce YMCA is a bittersweet one, but John is looking forward to his commute going from nearly two-hours on some days, to just 10-minutes, and having more time to spend with wife, Jennipher, and two young sons William and Owen. “I’m really going to miss this place,” said John. “To say it’s bittersweet is an understatement. The friendships have been wonderful, and I’m proud of the impact I have been able to make.” Serving as the Executive Director at the Montebello-Commerce Y will be a full circle moment for John. He first got involved with that same YMCA as a youngster in the aftermath of his parents’ divorce. Looking for a place where he could distract himself and make new friends, the Y opened up a world of opportunities and connections. Not only did he learn to swim there, but he also found mentors, a career path, and eventually, his future wife when they met as coworkers. Now he’ll be teaching his boys, 4 and 2, to swim in

that same pool. “I credit that Y for helping me become the person I am today. Returning now after 20 years, to give back to the community and the Y that made me who I am, is really special,” said John. Reflecting on his time in Westchester, there is a lot that John is grateful he was able to accomplish. With the help of his team, board and volunteers, he’s worked to increase the organization’s visibility, expanded programs, responded to community needs at every turn and led the Y through a pandemic, only for it to come out the other side as a stronger, more engaged organization.

WESTCHESTER IS TRULY A SPECIAL COMMUNITY. THE AMOUNT OF SUPPORT THAT WE GET FROM OUR PARTNERS, INDIVIDUALS, FOUNDATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS IS REALLY AMAZING.

John says that some of the programs he’s most proud to have been part of launching are the Youth Yoga Program with the Drollinger Family Charitable Foundation, which now serves 3,300 students every week across 10 local schools, and the Teen Connection Group that is helping middle and high schoolers work on their self esteem and improve their mental health. We recently sat down with John and asked him to share his thoughts, so here is “5 Questions With...John!”

1

What is your proudest accomplishment at the Westchester Y?

2 3

What will you miss the most about working with the Westchester/ Playa community?

4

What’s your hope for the future of the Y?

5

Is there any organization, person or business you’d like to give a shout out to?

Such a difficult question to answer concisely! From the engagement of our unparalleled Board of Managers and talented staff, to the pacesetting work we’ve accomplished by coming alongside and supporting the needs of our youth and families, the Westchester Y is truly remarkable. What I’m most proud of however is our Y’s relevance and response to the ever-changing needs of the communities we served during my eight years in Westchester.

My friendships. The kinship I’ve developed with our collective Y family, community partners, donors, members and staff, I will truly miss. I am hopeful our friendships will endure this transition and stand the test of time.

What is the most rewarding thing about being involved with an organization like the YMCA?

I was fortunate enough to be a beneficiary of the Y’s impact during the darkest chapter of my adolescence when my parents’ 25-year marriage fell into turmoil. The caring and compassionate family I found at the Y became the catalyst that changed the trajectory of my life, and made me the man I am today. Those experiences helped me find my calling from the young age of 12. More than a job, the Y has been a vocation throughout my 30-plus year career. The Y has afforded me the opportunity to intertwine my purpose and the Y’s mission in meaningfully serving communities throughout Los Angeles, for which I am thankful. The Westchester Y is on strong footing and will continue to thrive under the leadership of our volunteers and staff. Our board has long aspired to embark on the capital development of our facility with the objective of optimizing the space to meet the needs of today and the foreseeable future. Most importantly, we want to leave a legacy for future generations to enjoy what many have experienced in our more than 60-year history in this community.

Karen Dial and the Drollinger family! I remember walking away from my first meeting with Karen eight years ago thinking, ‘Wow, what an inspirational woman!’ Her welcoming and caring presence, her steadfast commitment to Westchester and Playa del Rey, and her vision for a thriving community were feelings I shared, which have continued to motivate me to drive toward transformational impact in the communities we serve. Thank you Karen and family for your friendship and the trust you’ve bestowed upon me and the YMCA in partnership of delivering on your vision for Westchester. I will forever treasure our conversations over tea!

Prehabbing your way to better health and quality of life

improves shoulder health since the back provides stability for the shoulder. The trainer also includes exercises Opinion: Many of us have experienced surgery or physical therapy to strengthen the core muscles (abs and lower back). Susan did not know for an injury. Physical therapy is also stronger core muscles can take stress sometimes called rehab. Meanwhile, off the shoulder. The trainer also performing rehab exercises before you includes some rotator cuff exercises to get injured is called “prehab.” The idea directly strengthen the area. The trainer is simple: by strengthening certain makes sure Susan uses good form when muscles, you can reduce your risk of performing the exercises since this injuries before they happen. Think proactive rather than reactive. Although ensures the proper muscles are worked prehab can take many forms, I will and Susan remains safe. The trainer also includes some upper-body mobility focus on three aspects: strengthening exercises. These exercises help loosen weak areas, increasing mobility and using good form. This month, I will use tight muscles in the upper body which limit Susan’s movement. Combined some hypothetical stories to explain with strength training while using how prehab works. While these aren’t proper form, these mobility exercises based on any one real person, I have allow Susan to play tennis pain-free worked with many clients in similar again. situations over the years. “Bill” is a runner who has never “Susan” is a tennis player who has been in a weight room, but he starts to never strength-trained. She starts experience knee pain when he runs. to feel a bit of shoulder pain when Bill’s doctor tells him he does not have serving and she goes to her doctor an injury, but he should add some about it. The doctor tells her she does strength training to his routine. Bill not have an injury but could benefit goes to a personal trainer. The trainer from some prehab activity. Susan goes to a personal trainer who designs has Bill perform several hip and core a workout that strengthens Susan’s exercises using proper form. Bill is mid-back area. Although Susan did not surprised to learn strengthening the know it, strengthening the mid-back hips is often the best way to decrease

knee pain. The trainer also adds in some hip stretches since Bill’s hips are very tight. These stretches combined with the strength-training allow Bill to activate his muscles in a way so that the knees experience less stress when running. Bill’s knee pain lessens dramatically in weeks. Within a month, it is almost completely gone. “Amy” does not play any sports but begins experiencing lower back pain. She works in finance and sits much of the day. Her doctor performs several tests and tells her she is not injured, but could benefit by strengthening her core. Amy hires a trainer who has her do core and glute strengthening exercises. The trainer instructs her on proper form and observes her to make sure she follows the instructions. The trainer also includes hip and upper back stretches in her workouts. The trainer tells her to get up and move every 30 minutes during the day. Amy follows these instructions and her back starts to feel better. Although she has a few flareups over the next weeks, eventually the lower back pain goes away, and she feels dramatically better. All three of these people performed prehab activity before an injury occurred rather than waiting until an

injury happened. Although the targeted exercises are similar to what the person would do in rehab, doing them before an injury can potentially eliminate the hassle, expense and inconvenience of surgery and physical therapy. Prehab can also help minimize or eliminate pain and get you back to feeling like yourself again. The key is using targeted exercises to strengthen and mobilize the relevant muscles. It is not a matter of simply exercising. Prehab requires specific exercises for specific issues. Good form is also key since that is how you target the correct muscles and address the underlying issues. In each of these situations, the person first checked with their doctor to make sure no injury existed before beginning prehab activity. Wishing a warm and joyous holiday season for you and your family! Happy Holidays to everyone in the Hometown News community! Before you start your fitness routine, consult your doctor. Can you find joy during the holidays?

By Fay Craton

Opinion: It is the time of year when we are likely to hear Christmas carols such as “Joy to the World.” However, this well-known Christmas carol is not the only song with this title. There are others, such as a 1970s pop song sung by Three Dog Night. With the fast pace of the holidays, the focus on decorating, finding the perfect gift for those around us, travel plans to join family or friends, rounds of parties, special holiday food preparations, all on top of normal, everyday lives–is there time to find joy during the holidays? Joy is something sung about, wished for and dreamed about. You and I may know it is important, but it may easily feel like a mirage that is seen but can never be quite reached. In today’s world, to experience joy requires being intentional. Otherwise, it is lost in the hustle and bustle of life. It requires allowing a lightness to form at the center of your being. How do you become light when the stress of living feels heavy? It requires being able to laugh, being true to your own values, setting aside time for you to take care of yourself and your environment and being brutally honest about what keeps you from being your authentic self. It also requires nurturing the quality of your significant relationships with others. Yes, there are times when we engage in activities because it makes loved ones happy. Whew! It may appear as if there is not enough time in a day to build within you the possibility of joy, while at the same time trying to earn a living and participate in “expected of you” activities. However, with effort you can increase the amount of joy you experience. Let’s start with smiling. The pop rock Three Dog Night version of “Joy to The World,” is upbeat and snappy, beginning with, “Jeremiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine, I never understood a single word he said, but I helped him a-drink his wine.” Let your imagination roam. Do you smile when you think about being good friends with a bullfrog? The characters in the song obviously communicated, even if they didn’t always understand each other. The chorus of the song is “Joy to the world. All the boys and girls now. Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea. Joy to you and me.” Again, in your imagination, what do you see? Thinking about happy fish makes me smile! In fact, it makes me want to giggle. Smiling and laughter translates to a lightness of being. All that is required is to let your imagination go and allow yourself to smile. What about being true to your values? Do you know what your values are? You may want to do some

journaling to bring them into focus. Next, think about the last time you did something which was not in alignment with what you value in this world. How did you feel? Did it make you feel empty, numb, unimpressed or heavy? Now think about a time when you did something which was aligned with what you believe in. How did it make you feel? Did it make you feel content, satisfied, upbeat or a little bit lighter? Do you prefer being upbeat or unimpressed? One of the factors of feeling joy is an accumulation of doing things in alignment with your life values. Another element in experiencing joy is how you take care of yourself. Joy and resiliency both require taking care of your body and the surrounding environment. Consider the amount of sleep you get, eating healthy food, not abusing substances, obtaining regular exercise, caring for your body and immediate environment, and scheduling “me” time. A lot of people struggle with some aspect of self-care. Compounding the struggle may be a sense of shame surrounding the area of neglect and/or difficulties being experienced because of the neglect. Frequently, a struggle in this area involves some emotional aspects needing to be healed. The holiday season brings us into contact with family we may only see on special occasions. It offers opportunities to connect with special people we do not often get to see. Consider the quality of your connection with others. Are you looking forward to seeing family and friends this year? Humans need meaningful connection with other humans. If gathering with family is difficult, you may want to form a “family of friends.” My wish is for you to make space in your life for joy during this holiday season. It is possible to intentionally create a life in which joy naturally emerges. Try starting with opening yourself to laughter. Consider finding a picture of a bullfrog and hanging it on your bathroom mirror. Every time you look at it, imagine yourself attempting to understand the words it is saying. I think each “ribbit” is saying “joy.” That bullfrog is singing, “Joy to the world. Joy to the girls and boys. Joy to the fishes. Joy to you and me.” I hope you have a joyful holiday season. “It’s important to us to know where your food is coming from,” says Harry, whom you’ll find most weeks at the local farmers’ markets scoping out the produce and chatting with vendors.

“Everyone was saying they were dying for a date-night spot, or place where they could go for a cocktail and get slightly more dressed up–a place that’s different than what Westchester has to offer right now. But we’ll never turn people away for wearing flip-flops,” she says.

Feeding the future

As Natalie and Harry prepare to nurture and feed Westchester’s next generation, they know their success depends on the support of the local community–just as it did for the Drollingers and Dials before them. Natalie hopes to follow in her family’s footsteps.

In January, we kicked off the year by featuring Natalie Dial and Harry Posner, who are getting ready to open Westchester’s most-anticipated new restaurant, Tomat. Expect an early 2024 opening of the eatery, which is located next to The Book Jewel!

Harry feels lucky to have grandparents and friends nearby.

“It felt like a term of endearment for us both,” says Natalie. “And it also felt right that it was my grandpa’s nickname for me in that all this goes back to my great-grandmother and my grandpa and their influence in this area, so it felt like the right name.”

In September, we shared the story of Maria and Fernando Villasenor who have built their successful dry cleaning business, L.A. Vista, stitch-by-stitch. Thanks to their exceptional customer service, they are rated #1 in the nation by Yelp reviewers.

Because they want the restaurant’s menu to be seasonal, Harry says tomatoes won’t be the star ingredient but will make an appearance for many months of the year.

“This baby is coming before the restaurant,” says Natalie. “It just happened that the timeline for nature was faster than for construction. It’s really fun to feel like we’re setting our roots down here and growing a family. You just start to think differently when you do that, for me at least, as a soon-to-be mom. I think it’s lucky that Harry and I are doing this together so there may be a crib upstairs at the restaurant at some point. There may just be days that look like where we’re creating a restaurant and taking care of a kid at the same time, I don’t know.”
