CERAMICS 135 Two Iznik Polychrome Pottery Dishes Early 17th Century Each having a white body painted under the glaze in bolered, cobalt-blue, green and black with a dense floral spray comprising carnations, hyacinths and tulips around a central blue and red curling saz leaf; the reverse of the first with six alternating green flower heads and blue floral sprays; the second with eight alternating green flower heads and blue floral sprays.
