Rotary of Wendover & District D1260

All you need is friends - and Rotary in Wendover and District would like to say a big thank you to all our friends in Wendover and Weston Turville for their generosity during our Rotary Santa ecoSleigh collections in December 2021.

First shout is to the wonderful volunteers who supported our collecting teams. Without helpers, it is not possible for Rotary in Wendover & District to send out the Santa ecoSleigh so please contact us as soon as possible if you think you will be available in December 2022. Please get in touch through cheryl@ monkeypuzzlehighwycombe.co.uk or message https://www.facebook.com/ RotaryinWendoverandDistrict. Apologies to any areas we were unable to visit. Please contact us if you would like Rotary Santa ecoSleigh to visit your road this December.

The biggest thank you, as always, is to the generous people who donated to this year's local charities, Chilterns MS Centre, https://www.chilternsmscentre. org/, based in Princess Mary Gate, and Pace, https://www. thepacecentre.org/, with a campus in Weston Turville. All charities are finding it difficult to fundraise at the moment.

Rotary in Wendover and District will be making presentations of cheques in the next few weeks so watch out for more in future editions of Wendover News.

We celebrate Rotary Day on 23 February when we hope you will be enjoying the beautiful purple crocus flowers from corms planted locally at intervals since 24 October 2010, World Polio Day. To find out more click on https://www.rotarygbi.org/projects/ purple4polio/.
