What is the Washington Program?
An amazing opportunity for students of all majors to LIVE, LEARN, and INTERN in the heart of our nation’s capital
Add competitive experience to your resume, form lasting connections, ‘test-drive’ a career...and have an incredible time exploring what D.C. has to offer!
What We Offer
• AcademicYear Program – Fall, Winter, or Spring • Earn 12-16 units through: • Internship (8 units) • Research Seminar (4 units) • Core Elective (4 units) - OPTIONAL
• Summer Program – runs June-August • Intern only and receive transcript notation • Intern + take Core Elective course, and earn 12 units of academic credit!
Academic Year Program • Internship (8 units) • Student expected to work 3-4 days a week (24-32 hours per week)
• Research Seminar (4 units) • Generally meets once a week for 3 hours • Develop a research project related to your major
• CoreElective(4 units) • Wide range of classes to choose from • Many take advantage of the museums and cultural sites in D.C.! • Generally meets once a week
Summer Program • Internship (8 units) + Core Elective (4 units) • Students expected to intern 4-5 days a week (32-40 hours) • Core Elective will generally meet once a week • Must choose this option in order to receive financial aid
• Internship only • Students usually intern full-time (5 days/week, 40 hours) • Earn transcript notation • Not eligible for financial aid

How much does it cost?
