Jeffrey Talley, Chief of Army Reserve, U.S. Army Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command, explains the emblem on his coin to Soldiers serving with the 464th Transportation Company following a mission on the Potomac River in Washington D.C. on Aug. 28, 2013. Talley presented his coin to the six Soldiers in recognition of their service and their efforts supporting an Employer Partnership Office event. The unit is one of two medium boat companies in the U.S. Army inventory, and the only Reserve component unit of its kind.

Cpl. Ezekiel Crozier of Olathe, Kan., maintains one of D Co., 7-158th Avn. Regiment’s CH-47 Chinook helicopters during U.S. Army Africa’s Natural Fire 10, a partnership exercise with Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania and Rwanda. Natural Fire was an opportunity for these East African nations and the U.S. military to train side-by-side and work together on a humanitarian assistance mission.
