Her paintings show not only the human figure, they show emotions, feelings that cross the image and captivate the spectator. Angella Gatto

Contact: mangelagatto@yahoo.com.ar

"The vision of my works is characterized in its essence in the picturesque and cosmic, the scenes narrated within the traditions of America in the historical and artistic. I transmit the spirit embodied in the constructive play of colors. Create all the power of the imagination. My concept of art: - Love of beauty as beauty to the truth, is the sensitive perception of thought, fantasy and imagination, connected with the states of the same name that are the images". Angela Gatto is an artist very attentive to the traditions of her country. The scenes narrated visually by the painter make us return to this silent area, where we can breathe the memory of beautiful customs that are transmitted to their descendants. Her figures are presented in the new scenes of Lake Titicaca of a Peruvian reality. Scenes that visually narrate Titicaca, which is a navigable lake located between Bolivia and Peru. Therefore, Angela Gatto is a painter, whose visual arguments lead the viewer to the new world. A world sometimes totally unknown. The world that is impossible not to fall in love with. The world to see your eyes open and start dreaming. Member of the World Art Games Argentina Team

Swallows Under My Balcony When I built a house, high and narrow as a cypress needle, swallows did not fly by in my thoughts. But they came to love the height of my balcony, the peace that slumbers under it every white-hot midday and in the whirling storms. There's not a spring when my swallows, arrow-slender, their cutting wings, don't slice across difficult distance and wearily come fly into the nest under my balcony. Then I too, the constant voyager and eternal returner, open wide the house's doors and windows. Let everyone in who comes back under my roof, like the swallows under my balcony.

Exhibition “Homage to Tibet”, the gallery of the Sheraton hotel in Zagreb in 2002., was organized on the occasion of HH XIV Dalai Lama's visit to Zagreb and Croatia. That was the first time that the works from the Tibet cycle were presented, which were created not long after the artist's return from a journey in Tibet, Nepal and Thailand. One of the displayed exhibits was given to HH XIV Dalai Lama as a present by the organizer. (from critique:) "Works of Iris Vrus are based primarily on choice as a procedure the artist opts for. The choice of fabrics is very unusual, not to mention unique in contemporary Croatian art. She chose textiles as a medium of her creative expression. Fabrics are put on a surface and presented much like a classic painting, their equally stretched forms suggest and imply that a designated surface was painted. It would not be wrong to say that the fabrics were not painted by the hand of this artist. She chose and combined the patterns and motifs, while their designing and dyeing were performed

by somebody else. Ms. Vrus chose the material (fabrics), patterns and colours and subsequently decided about their combining, merging and composition arrangements in general. ... Having chosen the title for the exhibition to be “Homage to Tibet”, Iris saw to it that the materials be within the context of the title words. That is to say, the fabrics come from Nepal, India and China, countries with strong Buddhist tradition and religious practice. They are also countries, which have become new homelands for countless Tibetans who have been forced to live in exile due to the adverse political circumstances.

... With this exhibition Iris Vrus succeeded in uniting the contrasts of rich (fabric) and poor (straight lines, explicit cuts), strong and soft, simple and complicated. By uniting and juxtaposing them she creatively brought together European and Oriental artistic traditions and gave her contribution to facilitating recognition of the general in the particular."

SEAS AND SHIPS The world is here divided into the seas and the ships: we are sailing just once into the love and just once into forever; the ships go away and don't come back but the colums of the white foam stay with us as the evidence of our sailing.

IN THE SILENCE Maybe I am simply tired today: so lonely I stay without words in the silence.

Zlatko Josip Grgić

Zlatko Josip Grgić was born in Zagreb in 2001. From his earliest childhood, he has been surrounded by some of the best guitar players in the world, such as Leo Witoszynsky, Tommy Emmanuel and Edin Karamazov, and taught by his father, a guitar teacher himself. In his concerts, Grgić puts emphasis on emotion, authenticity and expressiveness, thus continuing the tradition of the old Spanish, Catalan school of guitar, which - through the guitar teachers Leo Witoszynsky and Luisa Walker - leads directly to the great guitar player Miguel Llobet, a student of Francisco Tarrega.

Being a pupil of the Vatroslav Lisinski Music School in Zagreb, Zlatko Josip Grgić regularly appears at its festive concerts. At the beginning of 2017, he received the Distinction Award at the Dr. Jovan Jovičić Competition in Novi Sad (Serbia), and at the end of the same year, thanks to his collaboration with the art restorer Gabriele Lodi, he performed at the opening of an exhibition of Torres guitars on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the guitar maker Antonio de Torres' birth at the Violin Museum in Cremona (Italy). He also recorded the piece Serenata Española by J. Malats for the Spanish Television within their documentary film

about Antonio de Torres, featuring the best guitar players in the world. In the spring of 2018, he recorded Ennio Morricone's Cinema Paradiso as a music video in Venice. In December 2018, he gave a successful concert in Barcelona on the famous Torres guitar, La Invencible (The Invincible), as Torres himself had named it, which is the only guitar among the National Treasures of Spain. On that occasion, the Spanish gave Zlatko Josip Grgić the nickname Torres' Whisperer. Tonight the young artist will play Torres' guitar La Invencible (1884). It is the very first time that this musical instrument left Spain, and this concert

should connect the Spanish and Viennese guitar schools to one another, which were first connected by Miguel Llobet and Luisa Walker. It was back in 1924 that Miguel Llobet brought Luisa Walker a guitar, made by Santos Hernández, from Madrid. She passed it on to her student Leo Witoszynsky, who bestowed it on Zlatko's father, and he gave it to his son who plays it. Thus, this guitar is a sort of materialization of the historical tradition and mutual influence of both guitar schools on each other. Zlatko Josip Grgić also plays a Torres guitar from 1890.

Collage artist The world of collage art fascinates me. By using magazines and colorful images of still life, interior, ornamental design and natural views … new visions are created. The motivation behind my work is based on my personal memories and my own life experience. Symbolically it means, collecting the broken pieces of my life and building new ideas. In doing so, a better world is created by putting together torn pieces of paper. I was born in Slovakia (Czechoslovakia) to parents that were holocaust survivors. We immigrated to Israel soon after the state of Israel was established (1948) when I was one year old.

Deisy Lilia Sánchez (Guerrero, Mexico 1984) has taken many workshops at the Visual Arts Teaching and Production Centre “La Arrocera” on Campeche, Mexico. Since 2012, she has participated in collective expositions in Campeche, Merida, México and Croatia at the International World Art Games 2017; in 2018 she participated in an itinerant exhibition of the FORCAZS contest for visual artists from the southern zone of Mexico. Member of the Artists book: Flamantes Hago Cosas # 10 de España (2018). Her painting is focused on the contradiction of linking elements created on a time lapse of thousands of years: the metaphoric relation between rock painting and electronic cards designs (chips). The reasoning processes of mankind is a topic that causes reflection, it makes her question on which point do we move forward or backwards, if we need to go back so we can move on or if It´s all a continuous feedback; perhaps that's why she finds a relation between the synthetic representations of the rock paintings with the graphic systems used in electronics.

Photographer, Born in Merida, Yucatán, being the third generation within a family of photographers in the last 80 years. dedicating myself to the photography from the 2007, and in the 2010 I specialize in photography of Architecture, social and landscapes. In Architecture I discovered the proportions and depths between spaces and subjects. The control of the lights and shadows basic principle of photography is the day to day of my young career. The creation of an architect from the imagination something tangible refined the techniques of observation for the search of "perfect photography". from my profession and my family showing images of all the natural and cultural richness of my native land, thanks to this I have traveled through Mexico and the world opening doors to all place that I visit. At one stage of my process, I created "La Silla Roja", a 1: 3 scale wooden chair installation that I placed in urban spaces and commercial plazas as part of my promotion as a photographer; "I never imagined the scope of the installation on its own." My first exhibition as a visual artist came shortly after, accompanied by my father, entitled "Tuukul Perspectivas Mayas", where we presented 36 pieces with landscapes of Mayan archaeological zones in 2014.

Sol Castillo Solis

Contact: cellphone: 9999182345 e-mail: solcastillopro@gmail.com

Sol Castillo Solis ( July 26, 1982 ) is a guitarist, composer and music teacher. Motivated and encouraged by his parents, who are big fans of music and art, he became highly sensitive to painting, reading and music. He began his musical studies in a self-taught way at the age of seventeen. After that, he traveled to Mexico City to start his professional studies at Fermatta School of Music. Two years later, he travelled to Boston, Massachusetts as part of a scholarship program and then he finished his studies in Montreal, Canada. Being there he took a liking to play and improvise in jazz style for the first time.

Later on, motivated by the same music genre, he travelled to Montpellier, France as part of agreements with a local school in Mérida (TAC) in order to study Musiques du Monde (Musics of the world). Changing residence and facing new musical challenges meant a big achievement in his career, getting a strong discipline in areas such as improvisation and music reading. He went back to Mexico City with a new musical vision and was part of the DIM school jazz band in charge of Joe D etienne. One of his most important achievements as a musician because of all the teachings he acquired in this part of his life. Being part of this orchestra meant a lot of

discipline to him in aspects of music reading and improvisation. Passionate about all this knowledge he had acquired in different parts of the world, he decided to start his own music school so that he could share all this with people with the same musical interest. At this moment, taking part on the direction of his own school, Sol feels satisfied to be able to educate young people, enthusiastic about devoting their lives to music as a profession. After many years of collaborating with a number of musicians and different music bands, Sol decided to take a full break to focus completely on his inner voice. He made this decision motivated by different

critical stages in his life. Full of energy and stories to tell, he embarks on a journey to write the album called 'A Portrait of an Immortal Soul'. All the tracks in the album have a chronological continuity where Sol wants to take his audience to a trip throughout his history; everything he has lived, suffered and loved. Sol's big dream is to be able to travel the world showing his art; telling each episode of his compositions by playing his beloved instrument, the Guitar.

I live and work in a French settled, tourist town called Akaroa in Banks Peninsula, NZ. I am a mixture of French / European heritage and native Chatham Island Maori. I became an exhibiting artist in Christchurch in 2000, and had my own studio gallery in the eeling village of Poranui / Birdlings Flat since 2003. In 2009 I became a resident at the Christchurch Arts Centre, fulfilling my childhood dream until the central city was destroyed by earthquakes in 2011. I then followed my heart to Jordan and the Middle East, living in the diverse arts community in Jabal Amman. I gained valuable guidance from legendary artist Ali Maher. I returned to NZ in 2012,to care for my father in his beach cottage ... where I painted and became involved with WAG, where I won the first medal to be awarded in Slovakia in 2015 for painting. The aim of my work is to capture the elements and goals of ancient Maori artists in a contemporary way. I often imagine how their ingenuity would translate with the materials that are available today. The intentions of Maori art is tribal identification, the decoration of sacred and everyday objects, to express nature and the gods that rule the world of the Maori, and to display skills in intricacy of design so that power and connectedness are instantly recognizable. I live for the arts and its reflection of cultures and traditions. Art has the ability to express the histories and nature of all nationalities and I am constantly compelled to learn more.

I grew up in rural New Zealand, surrounded by nature, close to native bush and access to many beaches. Family holidays always involved travelling around New Zealand and exploring new environments.I was fascinated by discovering new surroundings, and found inspiration in natural materials that I could turn into artistic creations. I was,and still am,an avid collector of interesting items found when exploring. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in the forms and patterns, textures, colour, light, depth and drama found in nature. I enjoy exploring these characteristics and influences in many types of artwork, allowing materials to speak for themselves. I prefer to let my artworks evolve as they are being made – to find their own “voice”, rather than impose a preconceived idea upon them.

Saša Stojanović

SERBIA

Sasa Stojanovic is a visual artist, performer and activist. His artwork is based on affirmation of love, communication, critical and auto-reflexive relationship towards life, reality and institutions. He explores the concept of permanent performance of politics of life against and in spite of capitalism whose art forms (such as painting and design) are segments which cannot be viewed separately. Performance are significant part of his art, which he realised during the nineties and at the beginning of 2000. These performances were part of a wider context in which alternative artists mobilised against the dominant regime and the values and norms it promoted. He is a great admirer and collector of vinyl records of the golden age of rock'n'roll music. For Sasa, this music represents counter-homogenous thinking and promotes resistance to the mainstream society. Part of Sasa Stojanovic's art is a series of happenings called “Heavenly Cakes listens to records and talks to people” during which he talks and listens to people about music from his rare vinyl collection. He is an author of the poster and CD cover named “We are lucky the general loves his children” for the band “Obojeni Program”. He designed a cover for Ljubivoj Rsumovic's book “Three knots on the eyelash”. He is member of the Serbian Society of Art.

UNITED KINGDOM

Vanessa Garside

Vanessa is a visual and literary artist. She enjoys painting in acrylics, oil and mixed media on many kinds of surfaces and many different sizes from small paintings to large murals. Her subject matter is usually landscapes, plants or portraits, mainly of women at various stages in their lives. She likes to use colour and texture to facilitate the creative process. It is always a surprise to discover the emergence of shapes and faces from the subconscious. Meaning is not what you start out with but what you end up with. Since undertaking an MA in Art and Aesthetics at Bristol University, she has devoted herself to education within the arts – visual, literary and performance. Two years of studying Fine Art at Somerset College, enabled her to hone her skills, in addition to the many art classes attended in the area. Painting is always an enjoyable challenge. Since discovering the WAG International Artistic Association in 2008, her paintings have been shown in joint exhibitions in Croatia, Turkey, Germany, Kosovo, Slovakia, Austria and Italy. There is always the need to paint, which is a peculiar kind of enjoyment, but the pleasure of painting in such good company is a great motivating factor. Vanessa published her first novel, 'Skating on Thin Ice' in 2017.

with other prominent local artist such as Fanizani Akuda then it all became clear to her that art was her future. Agnes Mupariwa works in a maledominated atmosphere.

ZIMBABWE

Agnes Mupariwa was born on 4 November 1968, in the rural parts of Domboshawa in Zimbabwe. Whilst she is proud of the way she grew up, though not exposed to much of the 'wow' factor of the other side of life, Mupariwa remains the most proud individual of background, to which she claims it made her the woman she is today. After primary school she did her ordinary level (O' Level) at Parirehwa High School. At a later stage she moved to Chitungwiza. She drifted about seeking a job but she never found fulfilment. She then started a s a stone washer. In 1998 the artist, whose ability to transform raw stone into polished stone sculpture endorsed her to collectors, joined the Chitungwiza Art Centre, Agnes inspiration grew deeper. Her work and Influence In 2000, Agnes saw the bright light f art as a profession, soon after completing her apprentice in Chitungwiza Art. She recalls the light it brought in her life having to live her dream. Through introspection, she realised abstract stone sculpture with a fusion of post modernism is her tunnel of interest in the art world (field). Initially as her career commenced, Agnes took different types of stones, styles and techniques until she found herself into the circles of abstract stone sculpture, to which to which she later discovered that a fusion of abstract stone sculpture and post modernism was to her destiny. With her mastery of post modernism art movement, Agnes has allowed herself to venture in all sort of sculpting, executing her endowed talent. Such a mixture of different vibes makes her one of the outstanding Zimbabwean, contemporary woman artist. Though she specialises in sculptures like abstracts Agnes has defied the odds, by not limiting herself to the restriction of one particular area, but exploring different types of sculptures to produce marvellous sculptures that could almost resemble utopia, something which anyone who appreciate art would agree with.
