Perfect Meeting

ARTIST

GEVORG Gevorg combines his sensitive inner world with his surrounding reality; hence, moody melancholic works which reveal the artist's complex meditations. His paintings are marked with poetic lyricism, and the uncertain boundary between actuality and the imaginary. There is an interdependence of light and color which is dominated by contrasts of space and substance, rest and strain, and transparency and opaqueness of colors.

STAR STRUCK

AMERICAN HARMONY

ARTIST

GOCKEL "I started out doing a show in England, then one in New York." In his travels, Gockel says he has been influenced by such artists as Dali, Tapies, Picasso and Miro. Gockel's canvases consist of abstract figures and forms relating to each other in an almost lyrical way. There are brilliant colors and a constant graceful motion taking place, punctuated with powerful accent marks. "My aim is to paint harmony," Gockel has said.

COSMO IN LOVE

ARTIST

MICHAEL GODARD Godard's talent lies in his natural ability to create super-realistic works with extreme clarity and in a wide array of subject matter. His themes often reflect a fine sense of humor and deep thought; from clever pop art still-lifes with a wine bottle and running corks, to surreal landscapes, to amazingly realistic portraits of children blowing bubbles. His method results in works that balance technique, realism, humor and imagination; evoking drama and emotion.

HEART SERIES

HEART SERIES

He began creating album covers and book jackets that won awards. Then, influenced by the politics of the '60's, contemporary photography and transcendental meditation, Peter Max's completely original style emerged. Combining his fantastic illustration with bold colorations and psychedelic subject matter, his art epitomized the youth culture of the 1960's. His unsurpassed originality has led to a deserved fame and fortune that has lasted literally for generations.

ARTIST

JANE SEYMOUR Seymour finds sanctuary and peace in her art studio. A lover of culture and nature, she has created exceptional oil paintings, watercolors and limited editions. Her talent as a watercolorist, in fact, led to the production of a series of greeting cards sold to support her charities. One of her images was featured on a special Discover card, raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, following the work's charity auction at the Guggenheim Museum.

ARTIST

PAUL STANLEY Paul Stanley creates portraits and abstracts that are emotionally charged compositions. The scale is huge, the paint laid on thickly; the colors have been chosen in order to generate a powerfully physical and emotional effect. Paul's work can be associated with the Abstract Expressionists of the late 1940's and 1950's. He aims to maximize the direct, physical impact of his paintings through scale, texture, color and simplicity of images.
