Topic Welcome Site Logistics, Introductions and Agenda overview were handled by both Bill Rock and Courtney Kalashian. Partnership Business Program News 1. Regulatory updates CK, SJVCEO, stated that there hasn’t been much movement on legislative items. Everyone is now just awaiting RFA’s to begin to roll out. Also, BR, SCE, stated that Edison will be continuing its DI program in 2019. They will only be covering LED tubes and screw-in bulbs. 2. Upcoming meetings The VIEW the Success! Luncheon will be taking place on 1/17/19 at the Vintage Press. Save the dates are out and formal invitations will be on their way in December. Also, there is a climate assessment meeting for the SJV happening on 12/4/18 in Fresno. We encourage those who can go to attend. 3. Progress toward “Courtney’s Golden Challenge” CK, SJVCEO, went over the SCE ELP tier levels for those partners that were in attendance. She went through what IDSM items may be needed that Samantha Dodero, SJVCEO, could help with. Also, she asked partners what SJVCEO could help with for them to hit those savings marks.

4.

SD, SJVCEO, then reviewed the VIEW award for those partners that are PG&E and SCG. Lemoore was the only partner in attendance so SD direct conversation on programs and savings to the city. Project Listing Project listings from SCE and Staples were attachments to the meeting packet. CK, SJVCEO, went over the items to make sure everyone was on the same page. BR, SCE, was to investigate Hanford having completed DI and getting credit for it. Also, to check when streetlight credits will hit the ELP model. CK had asked that Steve Newvine, PGE, to reach out to staples on why they are so far away from goal this year. Jeff Lawler, SCG, stated that he did some investigating and found that the County of Tulare has gas opportunities in the juvenile hall as well as the courthouse. He is aware that both of those buildings are outlined the Engie solar project but can encumber funds for 2019 to tackle those opportunities. Christopher Martinez, County of Tulare, stated that he is on board and that supervisors have stated that he is able to run with opportunities. JL also stated that Kings County and Hanford have opportunities for gas savings. He will make sure to connect with them offline after the meeting. Next Meeting: January 17, 2019, VIEW the Success! Luncheon, Vintage Press at 11:00 a.m.

Serving Partners Better 1. Roundtable discussion thinking back on 2017/18, what’s working, what barriers persist, improving processes for

partnership team and municipal partners. CK, SJVCEO, led a discussion on challenges and opportunities. She asked the partners what seems to be a barrier for them. Lou Camara, Hanford, stated that there doesn’t seem to be much opportunity for energy savings nowadays. Hanford has done much of the items that have been offered and or rebated. It is becoming harder to find energy savings for the city. Many of the other partners agreed with Lou. 2.

Communicating opportunities and successes within the group and up to management/electeds. Nathan Garza, Visalia, stated that it may be beneficial to have an email communication with that lists rebate opportunities as well as outside funding sources for given projects. This could be a quarterly item or as incentives change. CK agreed and stated that SJVCEO can work with the IOU’s to compile ever changing list. Also, all partners agreed that it would be nice to get the project driven departments to the VIEW meetings. Having a city manager report on a bi-annual basis would be a great item as well. SJVCEO would work with the IOU’s to compile a short report and have Brian Thoburn come to present the item.

Continuing Strategic Plan Work through Match Funds 1. Updates on current SP activities CK, SJVCEO, stated that those that have SP funds for benchmarking or EAP’s will continue to have that through 2019. Any other requests for SP will be turned away as SCE has ended SP funding. LGP’s are banding together to see if benchmarking and other SP items can still be done under DI funds. She will keep the group posted. 2. Partner needs for 2019 and beyond—roundtable discussion on what partners wish to continue and SJVCEO commitment to sourcing grant funding. All partners agreed that having all funding sources presented to them would be very beneficial. They would like SJVCEO to help with the item. CK stated that if partners have any ideas and or concerns about projects to run them past SJVCEO to see if we can help with TA as well as finding outside funding. Other Business 1. Next Meeting, January 17, 2019 This will be at the Vintage Press at 11:00 a.m. Please do not go to our standard meeting place for this meeting. SD, SJVCEO, will be reaching out for those names of who you would like to invite. 2. 2019 Meeting Schedule Kings County mentioned that they would like to go back to meeting monthly. CK present the question to those in attendance. All mentioned that they would prefer every other month as meeting monthly is too frequent. Also, partners would like to rotate between partner locations. 3. Wrap Up & Action Items CK, SJVCEO, wished everyone happy holidays. In February there will be a 30-minute ad-hoc partnership call. The next regular in person partnership meeting will be held on 3/21/19 in Visalia. Concluded at 11:00 a.m.
