Students from 1st to 4th grade with no prior knowledge in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish can join our New Integration Program as a way to transition into our mainstream program. Small-group or individual attention allows them to acquire Mandarin or Spanish while learning content in that language. Goals include learning to speak, read and write in the target language, being able to follow a Mandarin Chinese or Spanish curriculum, and learning all about the target language culture.
The Language Institute is a full service language school. Services include private, semi-private, small group instruction for adults, Saturday and weekday programs for children age 4 and up, as well as expert tutoring with certified teachers for middle school, high school and college students. In addition to the traditionally requested foreign languages, they also offer American Sign Language and translation services.
