Redlands, Calif. • Redlands HS THIS SEASON Megan Borman enters her second season at USC as a key in USC’s attacking game, boasting strength in the air as well as a dangerous ground game. 2012: Borman played in all 19 games and started five as a freshman... Scored two goals, both in a win over Saint Mary’s in which she recorded the game-winner with her first goal as a Trojan. HIGH SCHOOL: Borman was her team’s top scorer for two seasons at Redlands (Calif.) High with 31 goals... Named to All-CIF Southern Section DII Third Team in 2010 and Second Team in 2009... A two-time all-league honoree... Team reached CIF semifinals in 2009... Also added 16 assists in two seasons... Played club for SoCal Blues, FC Breakaway and Arsenal FC... Won 2008, 2009 and 2010 National Cup championships... A member of 1994 ODP Player Pool in 2007... An honor student. PERSONAL: Borman has not declared a major, but hopes to pursue a career in writing... Parents are Rich and Kristin... Has two sisters, Ana Esail and Samantha Borman... Sister Samantha ran cross country at Cal State San Bernardino... Says her most thrilling sports moment was winning National Cup championships with three different club teams... San Clemente, Calif. • San Clemente HS THIS SEASON Marlee Carrillo enters her second season at USC with the height and the skill to remain a force on the Trojan back line while also bringing power in the air for set plays. 2012: Carrillo played in all 19 games and started 15 as a freshman... Provided a team-high five assists and scored one goal... First career goal was in USC’s opener against Cal State Fullerton... First career assist was against Saint Mary’s. HIGH SCHOOL: Carrillo reached the state final in 2010 with San Clemente (Calif.) High... Also won 2010 and 2011 league championships and reached CIF Division I finals in 2010 and 2011... Played club for West Coast Futbol and United Futbol... Trained at U.S. Under-18 camp in October 2011... Also played volleyball as a freshman... An honor student. PERSONAL: Carrillo is majoring in human performance with plans to pursue a career in physical therapy... Parents are Mark and Tiffany... Has one sister, Mikaela...
