Sport Clubs ABOUT UNO SPORT CLUBS

HOW DO YOU JOIN?

The University of Nebraska at Omaha Sport Clubs promote student participation in a variety of physical and athletic activities, gives students opportunities to engage in these activities at various skill levels, contributes to the development of student leadership, and provides an avenue for peer connection within the club and with other campuses.

Interested individuals should contact the UNO Campus Recreation office in HPER at 402.554.2539 to get information about joining a sport club. All currently enrolled UNO students are eligible to join a sport club. Don’t see the club you’re interested in? Start your own by emailing Lisa Medina at lmmedina@unomaha.edu.

Sport Clubs are strictly voluntary and involvement can enhance a student’s college experience ultimately contributing to a student’s overall well-being. A Sport Club is a recognized Campus Recreation program, which exists to promote and develop interest and participation in a particular sport or physical activity. A club may be instructional, recreational, or competitive.
