Places to visit

In the centre of England, renowned for its outstanding landscape and rich heritage Telford – the Telford Campus is based in the rural county of Shropshire where you can explore the famous attractions, such as the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, a World Heritage Site, and Hawkstone Park and Follies, the museum at RAF Cosford, and the Severn Valley Railway. Walsall – Walsall is famed throughout the world for its leather trade. The Walsall Leather Museum tells the fascinating story of this trade in a superb Victorian factory. If you visit our Walsall Campus in the autumn months you will have the pleasure of the spectacular illuminations held every year in the beautiful setting of the towns Arboretum. Wolverhampton – our City Campus is in Wolverhampton 'the high town or town on the hill'. It is a town of great character with over a thousand years of recorded history. Sites of interest include the Prince Albert Statue, the Wolverhampton Art Gallery and the Grand Theatre. Wolverhampton also boasts a racecourse, which is Britain's first floodlit all weather racecourse bringing fans and punters the thrills of racing day and night throughout the year. An inspirational setting to help achieve business goals

Shropshire - Priorslee Hall Conference Centre Priorslee Hall, Telford, Shropshire is the Grade 1 listed ‘jewel in the crown’ of our conference facilities. The ideal venue if you are looking to combine traditional character features with modern equipment, offering a great alternative environment to the bustle of modern life. There are six different meeting rooms, all linked via an open plan entrance lobby. Each room has unique historic features from chandeliers, to decorated ceilings with the benefit of new technology. The Wilkinson, an impressive oak panelled refreshment suite is one of the areas guests can meet, relax and enjoy a cup of fresh coffee. In contrast, the Darwin is a modern refreshment area, providing hot and cold fork buffets and a private dining area is available for both lunchtime and evening meals and celebrations, in the Orchard Room. Priorslee Hall is also the ideal venue for conferences for up to 75 people in the hall itself, with facitlities and en-suite accommodation available for up to 300 on Telford Campus all year round.

Lecture theatres providing cinema-style effect presentations, are located at each venue, and can accommodate up to 300 people. With so many seminar rooms at each venue, it is easy to run simultaneous workshops and select rooms to suit your needs and capacity. Entertaining The University of Wolverhampton's Catering and Hospitality Services team offer a range of meal experiences to suit every taste and is committed to providing high standards of food and service for your conference. From cafes to restaurants, we cater for all your needs for up to 280 people. Working breakfasts, buffet lunches and fine dining are all on our menu. Whether catering for parties and special occasions or specific diets, our experienced chefs offer a wide choice of freshly made dishes to suit you needs. Our new flagship restaurant ‘The Millennium Restaurant’ is located in Wolverhampton’s City Centre, with private dining for up to 50 people. The room can be opened up into the main dining hall to set up to 250 people for large functions and is available to hire all year for business or social events.
