The National Foundry Training Centre
The National Foundry Training Centre boasts state-of-theart manufacturing machinery and technical software, and is dedicated to upskilling the foundry industry with the use of a pattern shop, sand lab and foundry - perfect for all your training needs.
With supportive members of staff available to help on weekdays, the centre provides workspaces for individuals and teams to gain hands on experience, helping to develop their skill set within the manufacturing trade.
BENEFITS OF HIRING OUR FACILITIES
Our facilities can benefit your business by giving you the opportunity to use our workspaces and technology free of charge for up to 12 hours*. You can also hire our facilities for events and demonstrations.
Perfect for those who don’t have access to office spaces or specialist equipment, the centre is also home to a large boardroom and IT suite.
With access to a seated kitchen area, businesses can also make use of tea and coffee facilities.

Elite Centre for Manufacturing Skills
Springfield Campus, University of Wolverhampton
The Elite Centre for Manufacturing Skills (ECMS) hub is located in the newly renovated Springfield Brewery in the Black Country, and now offers businesses across the country access to its modern facilities.
With state-of-the-art rooms, the hub is ideally suited for regional and national training organisations or manufacturing companies looking to host either one-off or regular staff development programmes at an affordable price. Supportive members of staff are also available to help on weekdays.
Having great connections to motorway networks and public transport, the ECMS hub is the perfect place for large scale events, exhibitions and sales conferences.
The hub also has capacity to host 180 delegates, as well as cater for smaller groups.

By offering an employer-led training facility to enhance productivity within the region’s manufacturing sector, our facilities can benefit businesses with access to a range of fully equipped meeting rooms and workspaces.
