Klunzinger '95, whose daughter, Elska Salomea, was born March 4, 2010. The Klunzingers live on Chicago's Near North Side and Salomea is regional sales director for Aetna Global Benefits. She has fond memories of her class’ senior trip to Greece, "where we saw all of the hard work we spent studying mythology and history come to life!"

woman I am today." Eleni worked in Europe for 20 years, where she was the director of design and merchandising for 7 Jeans for the whole European market. For the past 3 years, back in this country, she has been working for AFLAC, hiring, training and building large teams who help people every day in their financial struggles due to health related issues. Eleni and husband Ed live in DeKalb, IL.

JoAnn Fitzgibbon Ori '85 and husband John live near Wrigley Field and get to lots of Cubs games! JoAnn is currently the stay-athome mother of Alexandra, 8, and Ava, 7. Dina Principe Sbarra '87 has just completed a second Master's degree, this one in Administration. Her first was in Curriculum Instruction, and both degrees are from Northern Illinois University. This is Dina's seventeenth year teaching science to middle schoolers in Glen Ellyn, IL. Dina and husband Tony have two children, ages 14 and 9. The Sbarras live in West Chicago, IL.

THE NINETIES Maria Balice Kresnicka '90 is a self-employed public relations consultant. "I've discovered that not a lot of people have fond recollections of high school - but I loved Trinity." Maria and husband Kevin have two boys and live in Elmhurst, IL. Also living in Elmhurst is Julie Higgins Woolfe '90, a real estate broker and the owner of Woolfe & Co. Realtors. Julie and husband John just had their fifth child in October.

Melissa Payne McKinzie '90 is a meetings co-coordinator and desktop publisher for the American Nuclear Society. Melissa and husband Mark, who live in Lisle, IL, have an 18-month-old daughter. Franca Cristiano Battisto '90 and husband David live in Glen Ellyn, IL, and have two children: Ben, 4, and Gabriella, 2. Franca is a sales executive for Nike, Inc. Alicia Jaeger Smith '93 graduated from Northwestern University in 1997 with a degree in civil engineering, and went on to receive a law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2000. Alicia works as a defense attorney for Bates & Carey in Chicago. She and her husband have a 6-month-old baby, Brooklyn Eleanor Smith. The family resides in Elmwood Park, IL.

We don't know yet where we're going next, but it'll be either Russia, Belgium or Italy, again for two years. Aleksandra and husband Terry have two sons, Leopold, 2, and Teodor, 1. She is currently finished with all her course work for her doctorate and is working on her dissertation at Loyola University of Chicago. She was an absolutely beautiful bride as was her mom Yvonne (former Board Member) a stunning mother of the bride! At the service was Dr. Jackie Ivey-Brown ‘97, her matron of honor. Jackie is in Medical Education at Evanston Hospital (educating interns), Samantha Cleary ‘97 is now an attorney, Regina Perry Carr ‘97 (who was the Cantor and is the proud mom of 3 darling boys), her mom, Regina Taitts, former teacher at THS, was the piano player, and cousin Tora Poindexter ‘96 was her maid of honor.

That first group of IBers also includes a pharmacist, April Peregrino ‘97, a nurse practitioner, Jolanata Markievicz ‘97, another nurse Becky Krcmarik ‘97, an engineer, Suja Issac ‘97, a French teacher Brianna Dahly ‘97, a masters in environmental science, Christina Forst ‘97 and who knows what else? Sam Cleary ‘97, who filled me in. I got positive feedback from the young women present and felt all the work they did, and all the teachers did with the IB program, was well worth it ... it was as scary for us as for them. I still have feelings of stress starting every May 1st just thinking about that IB testing! Trinity can be proud of all their accomplishments of challenging and empowering young women ... and continue to do so!”

THE 2000'S Jacob and Catherine Kavanagh Schlie '01, who live in Berwyn, IL, have one daughter, Pearl Roxanne, born June 23, 2009, and expect a second child in March. Catherine is an administrative assistant at Concordia University.

Vernessa Glenn Glover '01 holds two Master's degrees, in business administration and healthcare administration. She is currently a clinical supervisor at the Transplant Institute, Piedmont Hospital, in Atlanta, GA. Vernessa and husband Richard, who were married in August, 2009, live in Lithonia, GA.
