For this year’s December People Issue,photographer Matt Rainwaters took portraitsof 20 people, meticulously editing 25pictures ready for print. He spent five hourson perfecting the cover alone! We couldn’tbe happier with the results of his labor.Coordinating the schedules for photo shootsof some of the busiest people in Austin wasquite a feat, but narrowing down our list of the 10 Austinites of the Year and the 10up-and-comers to watch in 2013 was even more of a challenge since our city is fullof countless people doing exciting things for the city and beyond.
