Child, Youth and School (CYS) Services and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Partner Organization have joined together to prepare teens for these rapidly- changing conditions. HIRED Apprenticeship Terms consist of four (4) twelve (12)-week terms repeated annually. Opportunities to work after school and weekends exist year round in programs such as food service, child care, outdoor recreation, libraries, fitness centers, golf, and more. Teens may participate in up to two apprentice terms per year and will receive a stipend upon completion of each term. Participants must commit to 15 hours of participation within a seven (7)-day period for a total of 180 hours per HIRED.
