The Mike Stokely Foundation gave a $500 book scholarship in memory of Capt. Nicholas Schade Whitlock who was recently killed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The Whitlock Family is matching the award, so that Colomb will receive a total of $1,000 when she starts college this August.

Each year, members of the Coweta-Fayette Trust (the management arm of Operation Round-Up) award scholarships to outstanding students.
