Newnan Baptist Usher Convention — Presenter Delia Bolton, recipient Tamelia Hall. Mike Stokely Foundation Scholarship — From left are presenter Robert Stokely, recipient Olivia Colomb, and presenters Robert Whitlock, James Whitlock, and Jimmy Whitlock. The Mike Stokely Foundation gave a $500 book scholarship in memory of Capt. Nicholas Schade Whitlock who was recently killed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The Whitlock Family is matching the award, so that Colomb will receive a total of $1,000 when she starts college this August.

Each year, members of the Coweta-Fayette Trust (the management arm of Operation Round-Up) award scholarships to outstanding students. BB&T Scholarship — Branch Banking and Trust Company scholarship is presented by Don Phillips to Carolyn Wyrick.

We take education very seriously here at Coweta-Fayette EMC, and we think it's among our corporate responsibilities to support local students and the educational systems within our service area. That’s why we established the Melissa Segars Memorial Scholarship which is funded through the EMC’s Operation Round-Up program.
