MASTER THE ART AND SCIENCE OF TEACHING

At the Lunder School of Education, we teach you using the same methods you’ll use in the classroom. That means we inspire you to problem solve creatively and engage in selfdirected learning on curriculum pathways including educational gaming design, student-centered inquiry learning, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics).

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Engage in relevant, authentic learning founded on field-based preparation that focuses on early childhood practices that are developmentally appropriate, research-informed, and classroom-ready; approaches include Early Head Start, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf.

You’ll gain insight into the importance of co-teaching, inquiry-driven instruction, and interdisciplinary education, and the program is fully customizable. Track options include English Language Arts & Science, English Language Arts & Social Studies, and Mathematics and Science.

After earning your bachelor’s degree at Thomas College, you can pursue your master’s degree in a one-year, fulltime, online or in-person graduate program with all the perks of a residential student experience. Students pursuing a one-year master’s degree may live on campus or commute, and we offer generous scholarships for both pathways.
