BicyCal Maintenance and Educational HUB Mobile Repair Days
BicyCal holds weekly education maintenance sessions on upper Sproul and at North Gate. We repair around 25-50 bicycles a month through this program, helping students, faculty, and staff stay safe while riding on campus.
Bike Share and Rental
BicyCal is currently in the process of obtaining space on lower/upper Sproul where we will host our bicycle maintenance shop and educational center. This will be the HUB for all bike related activity on campus.
BicyCal is utilizing Green Bike Share technology to launch a fully automated 3rd generation bicycle share system. Our fleet of 20 bicycles can easily be checked out for hourly or daily use at a number of locations across campus. Bike share and rental at UCB will be available Fall 2010.
