Hello Austin! Do you believe that SXSW was our 40th Girls’ Lounge?! It was certainly a crowd favorite – for three days in Austin, we met, mingled, talked and taught each other about the power of collaboration. We brought girls and women together to talk about the future, heard from some of the great innovators of today, and invited amazing, girl-crush worthy women to be part of our role model runway, all in our stunning Girls’ Lounge at South By Southwest. As Marta Martinez, SVP of AOL said during our inspiring finale panel, The F Word: Redefining Femenism, it’s our time to “tell stories and create awareness of the phenomenal minds that come from women.”

On Saturday at SXSW, we partnered with StyleHaul to gather some of our favorite iconic, intelligent, powerhouse women to walk in our role model runway, proudly wearing creations our student designers brought to life in The Girls’ Lounge on Friday and Saturday.
