4As Creativity Conversation Creativity has the power to create real change in the world, which is why we were so excited to host a conversation titled “How to Lead Creative Talent to Change the World” during day one of The Girls’ Lounge @ 4A’s. In addition to talking about innovative and disruptive ways to increase equality, we also hosted Shawna McGrath, spiritual business consultant and author of our new Power Horoscopes, for personal astro readings.
4As Sharing & Pairing Our Power Conversation about “Truth In Advertising” echoed a philosophy that empowers everyone at The Girls’ Lounge: you can’t be it if you can’t see it. We had lively discussions about the impact of photoshopping on our younger generations, as well as how it influences the objectification of women in advertising. We also launched our “Mentorship in the Moment” initiative, where Linda Yaccarino from NBCUniversal was paired for the day with two high school mentees, Michelle and Alex, who shared their journey with Linda via Snapchat.
