Program A and Program B

Two different daytime film programs are shown on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3. If you are attending both days, you will be in the same theatre on both days, and will see a different program on each day.

Theatres and Seating

All Festival presentations are general admission with the exception of Friday evening (Jonesy and Gamme: Antarctic Adversaries) in the Eric Harvie Theatre, which is reserved seating.

Live versus Simulcast

Select events are presented live in the Eric Harvie Theatre as well as simulcast to the Margaret Greenham Theatre. Many Festival-goers prefer simulcast presentations because the projected image of the speaker is larger than life. During intermission, we make every effort to bring the guest speakers to the simulcast location for a brief Q & A session. Please note the film program after the break in the live theatre is different from that in the simulcast theatre.

The Fine Print

Programs and speakers are subject to change without notice. Tickets are nonrefundable. All audience members must have a ticket (including infants). Latecomers who arrive after the start time indicated on the ticket will be seated at a suitable interval in the program.

Did you know? The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour and the Radical Reels Tour hit the road following the Festival, bringing the best in mountain and adventure films to over 330,000 people in approximately 40 countries.
