PUNTO DE CONTACTO - POINT OF CONTACT

Punto de Contacto/Point of Contact, Inc. (POC) is a New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to the exploration of diversity and the exchange of ideas through contemporary verbal and visual arts. Programs are developed in collaboration with Syracuse University, various community based organizations, and intellectual communities locally, nationally and internationally. The organization and all its divisions are housed on the campus of Syracuse University, supported by grants from Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences, the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), and the Coalition of Museum & Art Centers at Syracuse University (CMAC). Established in 1975, the corporation is dedicated to publishing literary journals and producing contermporary art exhibitions, poetry readings, performance and symposia.
