Michael H. Nielsen Architect MDD PBJ was founded in 1968 by Per Buhl JĂ¸rgensen, and the respect for classic and quality furniture craftsmanship has since 1996 been carried on by Morten Svendsen. At PBJ, we create contemporary style furniture that reflects idea and applicability. In collaboration with leading designers and furniture architects, we combine quality and craftsmanship with functionality, aesthetics and surprising details. As with the furniture, designed by Michael H. Nielsen. Michael H. Nielsen, architect MDD, was born in 1958 and graduated from The Danish Design School with top marks on the design line. Michael has throughout the years designed various furniture and innovative designs with a clear reference to classic furniture architecture. A tradition, which he and PBJ will continue to pursue.

RAW AND PURE IN ITS DESIGNLANGUAGE

More colours. More options - your choice. Choice is an elegant arrangement that offers you the option of mixing colours and materials. As a final touch, furniture designer Michael H. Nielsen has integrated a coloured feature – a hot spot – behind the carved handles of the doors and drawers. The hot spot can be flipped, adding a new and interesting look to the arrangement. Choice comes with a hot spot in the same colour as the body and a matching colour on the other side – for instance Arctic Blue/Aquamarine or Walnut/White Oak. Additional colours can be purchased. Choose between a total of 12 beautiful colours and 2 veneers.

MAXI The family resemblance cannot be denied. The design and all the carpentry details – with mitre joints and carved handles – are the same as on Choice and Mano, but Maxi is one of a kind – and utterly unique. Maxi is a solo piece with a sturdy and stable base and comes with a body in white oak, walnut or white paint. Choose between 2 veneers and 12 high-pressure laminates to play with.

MANO ARRANGEMENT With Mano, we focus on flexibility and spaciousness. CLASSIC A tribute to Danish design with a clear reference to classic furniture architecture. With a passion for detail and massive wood or high-quality durable high-pressure laminate. The dining table has a storage room for additional leaves. The Classic series buffet excels in having two easy running sliding doors and the option of integrating a drawer box. The sliding doors add a diverse touch to the buffet, depending on them being open or closed. The dining chairs are from the Stick series.

CLASSIC The Classic media furniture has a distinct fabric front, which makes you able to use the remote control but hides the TV box and music centre. The cables are hidden discretely on the back.

X-TRA X-tra gives you a little extra ... quality craftsmanship such as finger joints. A little extra finish that hides set screws discretely in the legs. A little extra table top space by means of a two meter long leaf and storage room for four additional leaves. A little extra architectural details such as an elegant floating table top, carved handles and a stylish design. Simply, a little extra of everything. The matching X-tra buffet has soft-close doors and removable drawers â&#x20AC;&#x201C; today, drawer trays are a rare carpentry specialty. The dining chairs are from the Crosswood series.

OBLIQUE Elegant and stylish retro series, based on the design of the 1950s â&#x20AC;&#x201C; with large and soft curves and oblique legs with contemporary details, such as carved handles on the buffet. Drawer inserts, massive front edges, as well as doors and drawers with dampers underline the fact that Oblique is based on quality and proud Danish furniture traditions. All the way. Choose between white or black oak and various surfaces. The Oblique dining table has a storage room for additional leaves and is available in several colours and material combinations.

STICK COLLECTION

STICK COLLECTION Stick is based on Scandinavian design traditions and pays tribute to classic design. The series is further a declaration of love to the architectural classics of the 50s â&#x20AC;&#x201C; with a considerable amount of innovation, and implemented with contemporary technology. With Stick, the designers aimed to create a characteristic and light expression with an eye for detail, embedded in quality materials and exclusive craftsmanship, resulting in features like the distinct stick-like legs that also name the series. This furniture series is designed by designer Charlotte Wegener and furniture architect MDD Michael H. Nielsen, who has made his mark on Danish furniture craftsmanship for more than 25 years.

STICK Stick coffee tables have an almost iconic expression. The tables come in two heights – 42 and 46 cm – and are designed for both single display or in combination with other sizes, forms and colours. Available in a triangular or round version.

Ship ahoy... Sail is inspired by the sails on the sailing boat of the architect himself. While the series gets its light and airy expression from the maritime world, the table top and massive legs are solid and unwavering. The table top is made of high-quality high-pressure laminate and with wood edge railings – beautifully processed with an elegant profile. Choose between the models Mainsail, Jib and rectangular Boat with dimensions 135 x 70 cm. Heights: 36, 40, 44 and 48 cm.

Charming table that calls for a smile – and likes to show off. Handy is perfect for corners, next to your favourite arm chair or as an extra serving table in the dining room. Five carved handles make it easy to move the table – however, the designer is sad to say that it only comes as a right-hand version. The diameter and height is 50 cm. Choose between 2 veneers and 12 high-pressure laminates.

PLAY

Round is designed for everyday life, parties and a little of everything. Always practical, always at hand. The table top is made of durable high-pressure laminate and painted edges. Comes in both neutral and vibrant colours – you decide. You can push Round underneath each other and create more floor space, or play with creative formations. Heights: 36, 40, 44 and 48 cm. Diameters: 60, 70 and 90 cm.
