I N DOOR TRACK AN D FIELD • Earned runner-up honors on both the men’s and women’s sides at the 2010 Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships • The women were 28th at the NCAA Championships, the third-highest finish in program history • Posted 11 NCAA provisional marks, broke one meet record, set a school record in the women’s 400 and won eight conference titles on the final day of the MWC Championships. • Darryl Anderson was named MWC Men’s Coach of the Year • Had 20 student-athletes receive All-MWC honors • Festus Kigen and Rose Tanui became the first Horned Frogs to win MWC titles in the 5,000 meters

• Kigen cruised to a sixth-place finish in the men’s 5,000 meters at the NCAA Championships, becoming the first Horned Frog to earn All-America accolades in the event and posting the highest finish in program history • Whitney Gipson was sixth in the women’s long jump at the NCAA Championships, the best result in program history • Neidra Covington placed sixth in the women’s triple jump for TCU’s top finish ever in the event • Kristal Juarez captured the first All-America accolade of her career in the women’s 400 meters to finish seventh for the highest result in TCU history

OUT DOOR TRACK A ND F IELD • TCU won 10 of 28 events, set two Mountain West Conference records and broke two school marks on the final day of the MWC Championships • Women finished the MWC Championships in second place, while the men were third • Had 20 student-athletes named All-MWC • Freshman Charles Silmon was honored with the Men’s Most Outstanding Performance Award at the MWC Championships • Men’s 4x100 time of 39.20 ranked in the top five of the NCAA for the majority of the season • Twenty-five Horned Frogs, including all four relays, competed at the NCAA Championships

• Neidra Covington honored as the South Central Region Field Athlete of the Year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association • Covington soared to first-place accolades in the women’s triple jump at the NCAA West Preliminary Round • Covington was the only MWC student-athlete to earn two AllAmerica accolades at the NCAA Championships • Covington was the first female student-athlete in TCU history to win the women’s triple jump at the historic Penn Relays • Silmon made the United States Junior team, winning gold and silver medals at the World Junior Championships
