Centrally located between Atlanta and Augusta, GMC's Main Campus shares Lake Sinclair and the historic town of Milledgeville with Georgia College & State University. GMC offers a traditional college experience where students live away from home in a college town, take in-seat classes on a scenic 150-acre campus with paved running trails, fitness center, off-campus study opportunities, fine-arts, multiple clubs, and intramural activities. In addition to serving a commuter student population from a wide range of Georgia cities and towns, GMC also hosts robust student populations in its residential Corps of Cadets program and non-residential National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) athletics program.


JUCO ATHLETICS Georgia Military College is a championship Junior College Athletic Program. We travel all across the country representing our state and institution. We are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA). At the heart of our rosters, over 70% of our student athletes are from Georgia. We want to be your home Georgia team for Junior College Athletics.

LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

Through our experiential learning opportunities, students can explore their world near and far! With outdoor learning labs, class trips, and community service opportunities, your hands-on educational experience at GMC will prepare you for a successful career!

Interested in traveling abroad or seeing other parts of the US? The best way to explore history is to experience the sites where history was made. Want a closer look at natural ecosystems? Learn to take real samples and test the health of our local water systems. Then, go further and sign up to explore Marine Biology. "My experiences at GMC gave me a love for biology and real-world applications for the material I was learning in the classroom. Both the field trips I took during my Biology courses and with the Biology club at GMC gave me the confidence, connections and hands on experience that has assisted me throughout my college career and beyond as I prepare to Jessie Greene apply for medical school." JUNIOR COLLEGE FINE ARTS Our Fine Arts offers diverse performance opportunities, including mainstage productions of popular stage plays and musicals, musical cabarets, 24-Hour play festivals, chorus concerts, and Glee Club concerts, both in our theatre and at exciting off-campus venues. Students will experience exciting performance opportunities, professional performance opportunities, professional acting activities, experiential learning activities, professional touring shows and musical showcases on campus, and Music, Theatre, and Creative Writing classes.
