NEW STUDENT GUIDE

2023-2024

GMC MISSION

Georgia Military College builds on our military heritage grounded in our core values of Duty, Honor, and love of Country to provide hope and opportunity through individual growth and education of our students to develop their intellect and character as authentic servant leaders in an environment focused on elevating civility and respect for others.

Congratulations on making it to college! As the first college graduate from my family, I can certainly attest to how worried I was about making it to college, and then when I got there, how worried I was of failing. As a parent of two children in college, I was equally nervous for them - getting them into college and then succeeding while they are there. You, nor your loved ones need to be worried or nervous! As a student, if you are committed to reporting to class on time, paying attention in class, doing your homework and assignments, studying every day, and most of all, maintaining a positive attitude, I promise you will succeed and I also promise that the faculty and staff will do everything in their power to help you succeed! We are a family of faculty and staff committed to your success and are invested in your future. GMC prides itself as being a place where you can take your first steps in reaching your dream. If you are not quite sure on the degree you are pursuing or your career goalstake some time while you are here and think that through - and we are here to help you! We are proud that you selected GMC and even more excited to get you started! Work hard, dream big, stay positive, and trust in your abilities - we are here to help you every step of the way!

LEADERSHIP IS OUR LEGACY...AND YOUR FUTURE!

Character Above All!
