“THE TAVISTOCK CUP IS JUST GREAT GOLF, PLAYED IN REALLY GOOD SPIRIT.” - Ernie Els, Team Albany

T E A M A L B AN Y In 2011, Albany will become the third participating club in the Tavistock Cup. Albany members have won seven PGA Tour victories over the past year. Ernie Els took home back-to-back wins at the WGC-CA Championship in Miami and the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. Ian Poulter, Justin Rose and Tim Clark all posted their first PGA Tour victories this year at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, the Memorial Tournament and THE PLAYERS Championship, respectively. With some of the biggest PGA Tour players in the game, Team Albany looks forward to competing for the coveted World Golf and Country Club Championship title.

One of the most celebrated golf communities in the world, Isleworth commands 600 acres set on sprawling freshwater lakes dappled with grand oak and cypress trees. 2011 marks Isleworth’s 25th anniversary and its transformation from a citrus grove to a world-class golf community. Known for its championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer, Isleworth is regularly ranked the longest and most difficult course in Florida. Isleworth is home to a Mediterranean-style clubhouse where members have access to multiple dining venues, a fitness center and spa. Members also enjoy tennis facilities, a year-round children’s program, concierge services and 24-hour gated security. Bordering more than seven miles of shoreline along the Butler Chain of Lakes, Isleworth offers many boating, fishing and water recreation opportunities. Isleworth’s natural setting lends the perfect backdrop for its permanent one-of-a-kind collection of monumental sculptures, including works from Philip Jackson, Henry Moore and Eric Goulder, which are displayed throughout the property. Sotheby’s monumental exhibition returns to Isleworth this spring and features extraordinary sculptures by abstract sculptor Eduardo Chillida.

“IT’S THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE, SPECIAL EVENT I’VE EVER SEEN! IT’S AWESOME AND FUN, BUT THERE’S ENOUGH ON THE LINE TO MAKE IT PLENTY SERIOUS, TOO.” -Nick O’Hern, Team Isleworth

T E AM I S L E W ORTH The eighth annual Tavistock Cup will once again be contested at Isleworth Golf & Country Club. Team Isleworth stands ready to defend its home turf as it successfully did in 2006 and 2008. At the 2010 Tavistock Cup, Nick O’Hern posted a score of 7-under-par 65, tying Isleworth’s competitive course record and claiming the Payne Stewart Salver Award during Round 2. This prestigious medalist honor has also been won by Stuart Appleby, Tiger Woods, J.B. Holmes and Graeme McDowell. Robert Allenby’s shot on Hole #5 and J.B. Holmes’ shot on Hole #11 earned each of them a closest-to-the-pin win on those two holes. Isleworth members took home seven worldwide victories this year, including two major championships, the Senior Players Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open, won by Mark O’Meara and Paula Creamer, respectively. Stuart Appleby shot a final round of 59 to win the Greenbrier Classic, making him the fifth player to post that score in the history of the PGA Tour.

Set amidst pristine freshwater lakes and a canopy of tall oaks, pines and native cypress trees sits Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. This 600-acre community is comprised of families from more than 30 countries worldwide that have all come to experience a new standard of living. Residents enjoy world-class amenities, take pleasure in exceptional family experiences and create a dynamic yet welcoming atmosphere. Designed by Tom Fazio in 1986, Lake Nona’s championship golf course continually ranks among the top 100 courses in the world and has hosted a number of international tournaments, including the inaugural Solheim Cup, three Tavistock Cups, the World Cup of Golf, the 2008 Southern Amateur Championship and, most recently, the 2010 Senior Amateur Championship. Lake Nona’s premiere amenities include outstanding water-based recreation on a trio of waterways and a 40,000-sq.-ft. Clubhouse offering unparalleled services to its members. The Bath & Racquet Club, with a fitness center and resort-style pool, is often the setting for Nona Crew – the community’s comprehensive youth program. This is all part of Lake Nona’s unmatched lifestyle.

“IT’S GREAT TO HAVE FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS IN THE CROWD, WHILE PLAYING WITH GOOD BUDDIES. SPECTATORS GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH THE PLAYERS, AND EVERYONE HAS A GOOD TIME OUT HERE.” - Graeme McDowell, Team Lake Nona

T E A M L A K E N ON A In 2010, Team Lake Nona claimed its third Tavistock Cup in the tournament’s seven-year history. With a final score of 17-13, Team Lake Nona sealed its second consecutive win. With the help of rookies Ross Fisher and Peter Hanson, Team Lake Nona jumped out to an early lead during Round 1 and helped defeat Team Isleworth on its home turf. For the second year in a row, Retief Goosen’s monster drive on Hole #7 secured him the Old Mutual Long Drive Challenge. Goosen and Ben Curtis each landed their shots closest to the pin on Hole #2 and Hole #15, respectively. Over the past year, Lake Nona has claimed 10 worldwide victories, including three LPGA Tour victories and five European Tour wins. Graeme McDowell took home his first major championship title at the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, becoming the first Irishman to accomplish this feat.

Nestled in the heart of rolling Surrey countryside, Queenwood is a traditional private golf club, mirroring the classic clubs which helped foster the ideals of the sport golfers so cherish. Conceived by Frederick D. Green, who brought to the UK his passion for creating exceptional golf clubs following highly successful openings at Eagle Springs in Vail and Nantucket Golf Club off the coast of Massachusetts, Queenwood is a club with proud U.S. roots and British golfing traditions. David Kidd, known for his work at Bandon Dunes, Oregon, was hand-chosen to be the course architect. His commitment to “live on the golf course” during construction allowed Queenwood’s course to open on schedule and set the bar for traditional heathland golf. Queenwood’s clubhouse is a sanctuary providing sophisticated tranquility on London’s doorstep for members and their guests. A wide array of services are available throughout the year, from fine dining enhanced by an astute selection of exceptional wines to the unparalleled comfort of luxurious guestrooms. Queenwood’s members all share a love for the game of golf, its traditions of sportsmanship and etiquette and its history.
