I usually travel during the winter ‘cause it’s a fucking freeeeezing period at home. But this year I decided to stay in Asturias. ‘Oh man, what a lame!’ They said... But it’s neccesary to go far away to fall in love with your country again. Asturias [northern Spain] is my homeplace. It has many good things. And bad ones too, for sure! For that reason, I wanted feel this period as a kind of ‘conciliatory experience’. I hate killing time and stay inactive so... I’ve created this mag to share with you the surf scene of my country [does it exist? Does it matter?] and the passion of some photographers & surfers who suffer and live because of the sea THANX to everyone who has helped me to make R_666 #7 Mag. THANX to everyone who is taking a look at this!_
Siempre suelo aprovechar esta época para irme de viaje y quitarme de en medio los meses más duros del año. Sin embargo, este invierno no me apeteció irme. Todos me dicen: ¡qué putada no haberte pirao! ¿Eh? ...Pero no hay nada como tirarte varios meses fuera para valorar lo que se tiene en casa. Con sus cosas buenas y sus cosas malas, Asturias es mi casa, así que no quería tomarme esta temporada como una limitación sino como una reconciliación. Y como no mola quedarse de brazos cruzados basándose en el pretexto de ‘este año no me he ido’, he decidido hacer esta revis a partir de las fotos de un montón de peña que suelo ver a diario [llevo haciéndolo durante años] sufriendo y disfrutando como yo, con el fin de compartir una escena [¿existe? ¿Importa eso?] o, simplemente, para aportar un poco de vida a las interminables tardes de invierno con una pequeña dosis de belleza y nostalgia. Gracias a todos los que habéis colaborao. Gracias a quienes echéis un vistazo a estas páginas_
