WEIMAN|N WEIMAN|N is a fashion label that doesn't draw a distinction between small and large sizes. A look that makes you feel comfortable and chic at the same time — a to the point description for Berlin based label WEIMAN|N. Its founder, Natalia Weimann, draws her main focus on a perfect fit. Therefore she creates patterns functioning for a size 36 up to a 52 alike and show off the female figure to its best advantage. About her recent Spring | Summer Collection 2013 the designer says: "It turned out to be a 'Best of WEIMAN|N' by reusing and enhancing some of my bestseller patterns and freshen them up with new fabrics and colors."
Natalia Weimann takes her inspirations from the urbanity of a metropolis — shall it be a certain color or an architectural detail that will find its way into the ideas for the clothes. But her main source of inspiration are the fabrics themselves: "As soon as I hold a fabric in my hands, get to feel it, I know exactly what will come out of it!" She always emphasizes on best quality and a special feel good factor when she chooses the cloth. Some of her favorites are composites of cotton, rayon, linen, silk and wool. BERGNERSCHMIDT When Ludwig Mies van der Rohe proclaimed: „Please do not confuse the simple with the simplistic�, he characterized the formal principle of the label bergnerschmidt. The designers Lily Bergner and Elisabeth Schmidt studied fashion design at the University of Applied Science (HTW) in Berlin. They graduated in 2009, founded their own label that same year and create concrete jewellery since then. bergnerschmidt's design takes its inspiration from Bauhaus and has been conceived on the basis of its maxim 'less is more'. Concrete stands for this clean and cool aesthetics and therefore becomes the principle of their unique design. bergnerschmidt generates experimental but wearable accessories which combines purist and constructive expression with subtle femininity. The fascinating geometry of things is a recurring element in their works. Necklaces, bracelets and rings made of grey or black concrete partly refined with gold or silver are pieces in their assortment. In another series of products, which is called 'concrete pieces', they design functional and shapely objects for the bureau. The new bergnerschmidt concrete collection 'even uneven' is inspired by the asymmetry of things, even and uneven edges, odd angles which transform into curves and the simple construction buildings. www.bergnerschmidt.com

Jean Balke represents that sense of sustainability with her label NALLIK. Therefore NALLIK uses mainly raw semi precious and precious stones. Those are Amethyst, Amazonite, Aventurine, Green Opal, Ruby, Citrine, Chrysocolla, Quartz, Turquoise, Smokey quartz and emerald in mother rock, to mention a few.
The NALLIK organic line consists of raw semi precious or precious stones and brushed brass. Brass is an organic material which fits perfectly to the nature of the stones used. ART DRIVE! THE BMW ART CAR COLLECTION ART MEETS DESIGN IN LONDON Over 35 years ago the BMW Art Car Collection started when French racing driver and auctioneer HervÊ Poulain invited his friend Alexander Calder to design a car that married artistic excellence to 'an already perfect object'. The result was a racing car that would ultimately compete in the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1975. And so the BMW Art Car was born. Since then some of the greatest names in contemporary art like Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Cesar Manrique, Jeff Koons, A.R Penck, Jenny Holzer or David Hockney have added to the collection creating a wide range of artistic interpretations. David Hockney’s 1995 Art Car paints the inside of the car on the outside, revealing everything from internal engine parts to a dog in the back. Rauschenberg incorporates photographic transfers of Ingres paintings while Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein used the canvas of the car to portray the essence of speed.

With the exhibition ART DRIVE! THE BMW ART CAR COLLECTION the ICA, in partnership with BMW, the Mayor of London and the London 2012 Festival, brought together nearly all BMW Art Cars in one exhibition for the first time outside of Munich. And using the NCP Car Park on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, London with its six floors as exhibition space was a great idea since the rough environment underlined the BMW Art Cars' beauty. ART DRIVE! THE BMW ART CAR COLLECTION on show in London was a wonderful one-off opportunity for art and design lovers as well as car enthusiasts!
