The Remains

of the Day

Most things are best piping hot and fresh: cookies, pizza, roasts, etc.. But somehow Thanksgiving dinner always tastes better the next day; not just better, amazing. I’ve always looked forward to the holiday season as the time where I can eat leftovers for every meal. Turkey and gravy for breakfast? Yes. Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and stuffing for lunch? Of

course. I then continue to eat the remains of my favorite meal until they’re gone and my family is left wondering where it all went. Sorry big bro, you can snack on the leftover green bean casserole. The tricky thing about leftovers is storing them. Luckily there is a plethora of great options that don’t involve miles of saran wrap and aluminum foil.
