Take time to visit the pianos, play your favorite song and send a video to win prizes (Southtown/Brookside pianos: #brooksideballads and Waldo locations: #Waltzingwaldo). Waldo locations: Gregory Blvd/Rockhill (Bier Station), Gregory Blvd/Wornall (Metro bus stop), 75th/Wornall (Waldo Monument), 79th/Wornall (KC Bier Company) and 85th/Wornall (Tropical Sno). Runners Supporting Local Market Saturday, May 16 was the first Brookside Farmers' Market Run of the season. Local group, RUNch, met at 8am, ran 6 miles and then shopped for produce. All summer, runners will be meeting every Saturday at the Brookside Farmers' Market. Each group will run some miles and then come back and shop for local produce. This effort aims to show the local farmers how much the local runners appreciate what they do for our community. Local running group, RUNch and Run 816, have already signed up to run and shop all summer long. If your running group, big or small, would like to participate, please let us know! Email Cheryl at cheryl_birkey@yahoo.com to sign up. #FueledByFarmers.
