The Hall’s Kitchen: Cooking with Gilda Eating good food is just as important as catching the best bingo offers when they’re available on BingoHall. To help you with the former, we have asked Gilda to spare a few moments of her time and tell us what she cooks to keep herself energized throughout her never-ending days.

Gilda’s Autumn Pancakes This recipe is fast and easy to prepare, so you won’t miss out on any special bingo offers. Every year, there comes a time when absolutely everything becomes pumpkin flavored. For most people it occurs around Halloween, but for Gilda it’s usually just between January and December. For Gilda’s Autumn Pancakes, you will need the following ingredients: The Pancakes: -

A tablespoon of sugar

-

A cup of flour

-

Half a teaspoon of salt

-

2 teaspoons of baking powder

-

2 eggs (separate the yolk from the egg whites)

-

Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon

-

2 tablespoons of canola oil

-

Half a cup of canned pumpkin

-

A cup of milk

Start by whisking the egg yolks with the milk, oil and pumpkin until the mix smoothens. Now add all the other ingredients we’ve mentioned until everything is nice, moist and smooth. Gilda advises against using magic to mix the ingredients together, as cooking in a magical field always gives the food a strong tangy aftertaste. The final step is to beat the egg whites until they start forming soft peaks. Fold into the batter and you are ready for the syrup. The Syrup: -

Half a cup of brown sugar

-

About a cup of apple cider

-

2 tablespoons of butter

-

Half a cup of corn syrup

-

A bit of ground cinnamon and nutmeg

-

Half a teaspoon of lemon juice

Preparing Gilda’s syrup is quite simple. Just combine all of the ingredients and bring them to a boil while stirring. Cut down the heat and let the syrup simmer and thicken for about 20 to 25 minutes. You are going to let the syrup stand for an additional half an hour before it’s going to be ready to serve. The pancakes themselves are very easy to make. So easy that Gilda doesn’t even use her thermonuclear cooker. Grease your griddle, heat it up and pour about a quarter cup of batter on it. Turn it over when your pancake starts to get bubbly and cook until goldenbrown. You can use this time to check if we have released any new bingo offers.

Getting the ingredients All of the ingredients are very easy to find, as they should all be available at your local supermarket. These days Gilda just has them delivered, mostly because she was banned from flying her broomstick over populated areas. Something about disrupting air traffic.
